I wanted to get familiar with those new color pencils I bought last month.

Inspired by the motifs on some old Norwegian furnitures we got from my grandparents.

In the 1990s, there was a short-lived fad for painting antique chairs to create pieces of art. This one was painted by Kathryn Lehotsky of Chillicothe, Ohio. The chair isn’t as early as it’s dated on the card, however. It’s a confusing, remade piece with a mixture of elements, but it’s probably mid-19th century.
