HAPPY THREE YEAR ANNIVERSARY TO THE FIELDS OF ELYSIUM
AAA HAPPY THREE YEAR ANNIVERSARY TO THE FIELDS OF ELYSIUM!! Who are the two in the second panel? Can you tell me about them?
AWWWW THANKSSSS
ABSOLUTELY
SO to begin, we have Rosemarie Callow, a new detective in the Elysium Police Department. Her story starts when she gets assigned to a murder case, aka the case where Casey Hale is the prime suspect. The day after the murder, Lennon comes to the department to talk to Casey, and somehow Rosemarie ended up having to watch over those two idiots while they “talk to someone.” Flash forward they’re in an abandoned hospital trapped by…a demon. WELL anyway, Rosemarie does her best throughout the story to always keep the truth protected, as she teams up with Farold to find the two idiots (Lennon and Casey) who got themselves wrapped up in supernatural conspiracies and somehow managed to be fugitives from the police.
She can sometimes be naïve from her immediate trusting nature. She always sees the best in people from the first impression, and during her team up with Farold, she starts to learn that this flashy city isn’t as ideal as it seemed when she first moved a few months before. She grew up in a big family in the country, and eventually decided to join the police force for two reasons. One: she always felt the need to speak the truth, especially when she saw other people staying quiet. Because if she didn’t speak out, who would? And two: her brother Finneas was on the police force too, and eventually became the commissioner, so he really inspired her.
I really need to digitalize more drawings of her
SO Farold, this guy, haha. Alright so he got roped into this because idiot #2 happens to be his best friend, Casey. If you saw them, you might see them arguing about the dumbest thing you’d ever heard, or you might see them whispering about people’s weird quirks, or hating on each other, but their complete trust is undeniable once you get to know them a little better. Farold met Casey in the mysterious war that happened three years before the events of my story. Farold was a foot soldier while Casey was the field medic assigned to his team. But before that, Farold had (like Rosemarie) grown up in a big family out in a small town. Why did Farold move you ask? Well, his Dad actually happened to be one of the most world famous ghost/monster hunters out there. For a while, his Dad trained his kids, sometimes taking them out on hunts. Due to some pretty crazy and traumatic stuff happening, he stopped training them, and Farold left, moving to Elysium to try and live a normal life. His best attempt was joining the army and well…a war started that was very, very abnormal. Three years later, after trying his best to forget about ghosts, Casey gets accused of murder (for the second time btw). And the case seems to be doing everything to try and get him back into hunting.
Farold has trust issues lol. He’s very cautious and always makes a plan in his head for a way to get out; not because he’s scared, but rather because he wants to stay alive. He reacts quickly to danger and seems to have an eye in the back of his head sometimes. He’s suspicious of Lennon as well as Rosemarie for a while because they’re a part of the law, which he doesn’t trust in the slightest. But eventually starts to let go of his prejudices and becomes good friends with them. Maybe even starts dating one of them…(Rosemarie btw XD).
So yup! Sorry I kinda rambled but I hope this helps :3 I love them sm
I apologize for the lack of content. I've been doing a lot of writing recently, so I haven’t had a whole lot of time to use up with drawing. So here are some quick sketches of some different parts during the book :D
Happy Valentine's!
