Had this idea pop up when I was working on a redesign and lore for a possible mod for Rose in HKSS [it's really unlikely I'll ever make it tbf]. I'm not sure if I'll finish this, cuz I have no idea where to put them location wise, and where this might happen lore wise, but oh well.

i never got super into it but i like it?

i do like how much more comfortable garnet and rose’s co-leadership is when compared to amethyst or pearl? which is SUPER CUTE in retrospect (fuck a single pale rose rights) since like... it was the first time garnet didnt feel like she Had to explain herself and could be taken as is?

so that sense of confidence is omnipresent in her interactions with greg and the other gems and why like... she didnt know how to handle steven’s desire for independence in The Test and why her reaction to rose’s true identity caused her to split?

it’s a super subtle ship but a really valid one!

ok, we know much about Pearl and Rose relationship (romantic), Greg and Rose relationship(romantic), and even more about Amethyst and Rose relationship(motherly?). But where is garnet at with rose? Was it a choice for Garnet to assume the CG’s leadership? Did Garnet know Rose’s decision before everyonelse? How was Garnet affected by Rose’s decision? Were they close? Was it mutual respect?? Was Rose more of a mentor to her? SO MANY QUESTIONS!
