STEVEN AND DIANTHA!!!

I am OBSESSED with my commission of Steven and Diantha by @marchingspace for my fanfic To Love A Supernova!

When I sent MarchingSpace the brief, I was adamant that I wanted Steven to be very pretty. "Basically blend Steven exactly as he is from the anime with Victor Nikiforov from Yuri!!! on Ice" was the wording I used. And I wanted them to look like they were in their early forties, which I think has been nailed. Diantha has a beauty to her but also a soft, aged grace. And of course, we had to include her megastone pendant!

When I commission the art for my fanfic, I want it to sit in a blend of looking like the characters but also somewhat different, with a more traditional cartoon/anime style than the Pokémon universe. I can't wait to show my readers the other artworks that I am peppering throughout this second season of the Supernova Series.

So, I've been thinking lately...

Who do you think is Ansha's father? I've narrowed it down to two men: Prof. Sycamore (ship name is GentryShipping) and Steven Stone (ship name is RoseQuartzShipping).

I think the former option is more likely than the latter, but Steven played a role in the Delta Episode, which involved a Rayquaza. What are your thoughts?

LionHeartShipping, RoseQuartzshipping or FleurDeGrandeshipping one of your favorites? If so, can you gimmi a headcanon?

Hi there anon! So let's clarify what the shippings are for people who may not know them off the bat (because admittedly I had to look 2 out of the 3 names up) LionHeartshipping is Leon and Sonia RoseQuartzShipping is Steven and Diantha FleurDeGrandeShipping is Grant and Viola So I like LionHeartShipping the best out of the 3 (also it's the one I'm the most familiar with and I think they have a pretty cool dynamic. Admittedly I'm a multishipper at heart and ship Leon with Raihan (TrueRivalShipping) and Sonia with Nessa (AquaHeartShipping) and I slight lean more to those ships than LionHeart.

After looking up the ship I realized that I am a fan of FleurDeGrandeShipping because I remember watching XY and seeing the interactions between Grant and Viola and thinking "Hey they'd be a cute couple!"

RoseQuartzShipping I don't ship only because I'm just too stuck to the idea of Steven marrying Wallace. I don't really have too many headcanons though for the ships, been kind of focused on developing my Pokemon OCs more at the moment.

Married To: Diantha SeverinDate of Marriage: January 2017. Steven is 27, and Diantha is 33. (hi age gap) They date for a VERY short time before Steven proposes.Children:

Faith Stone, born February 7th, 2018. Faith was 100% unintentional — Steven and Diantha didn’t intend to have their first child so soon into their marriage — but accident or not, neither of them could bring themselves to terminate the pregnancy. Faith is very artistic and imaginative, and she enjoys being around people. However, she has a HELL of a tempter that often gets the better of her. She’s naive and spoiled, and even as a teenager, she throws tantrums when she doesn’t get her way.

Agnes Stone, born March 4th, 2023. Now, Agnes they actually tried for. (partially at Faith’s “insistence” that Steven and Diantha give her a sibling.) Agnes is a very rough-and-tumble girl, and she takes a bold, brash approach to everything. She has a sharp tongue, and can be kinda rude. She’s very brave and determined to accomplish her goals, however, and unlike her older sister, she’s good at keeping a level head even in the most chaotic situations.
