This is a AU where Jax didn't abstract thanks to Ragatha getting though to him and Caine manages to brings back 3 of the abstracted cast members which was Queenie, Ribbit and Kaufmo, everyone is happy and Caine let's them all do whatever they want as he had given the admin permission.

The group were happy and loving this new circus but soon, both Queenie and Ragatha start wanting to want kids while Zooble wanted their sex permission in the circus so Caine makes it so the group can have sex and reproduce in the circus, everyone was happy and soon, Queenie, Gangle, Ribbit, Pomni and Ragatha were all pregnant around the same time.

After a month of the ladies being pregnant, the first baby was born being Kinger and Queenie's Son named Duke, a few days later, Kaufmo and Ribbit's Daughter was hatched from a egg named Lillypad or Lily for short, another few days later, Gangle and Zooble Child hatched from an egg named Boe, another few days later, Pomni and Caine Twins are born with the oldest was a Boy named Charlie and the youngest was a Girl named Poppy, then lastly, another few days later and Jax and Ragatha's Daughter was born named Evie.

The 6 babies grew up together with them all have a sibling/cousin dynamic with each other and when they become late teenagers, Caine makes Charlie take his role as Ringleader while the adults all go to their own island far away from the circus to spend out the rest of their lives happy and relaxing from parenting, they still do visit the teens or the teens visit them from time to time for support, comfort and reassurance.

Also, a new member joins the circus a few days after the adults retire and the 6 teenagers help them get use and understand how the circus works. 😋

So... based on that other Goldfish baby post I had, I had an idea that they had 2 babies, but LeBlanc took one to train for her own purposes, and they don't get them back for like 16 years, 😭 but I don't want to do that to these two, so we're just going to focus on Sade for now.

was revisiting my collection of fanbabies and feeling nostalgic, especially since I think I have settled on ultimately giving Soren and Opeli one more kid just because "Soren having feelings about being a father to a son, specifically" is too juicy to pass up so

Brielle (sometimes Bri or El for short) who goes into the religious/political order like her mom, Brynn (she/they) who's quieter and wants to be a mage like Aunt Claudia / get tf out of Katolis, and a little brother by 4ish years Aster, who feels a lil bit in the shadow of his parents / older sisters. Headcanons:

Soren and Opeli get married by the time she's 38, and she gets pregnant with the twins pretty shortly afterwards. Getting pregnant at all given Opeli's age (40-41) is a surprise the first time, let alone with twins, let alone another time when she's 44.

Soren was stressed the first time (esp bc the twins, as they often do, came a bit early) but even more so the second time around because the risks increase the older you get + having to be there for his daughters and not freak out in front of them. Ezran, Claudia, Barius, Corvus, and Terry were a big help in keeping everything together

Brielle usually goes by Bri for short on the rare occasion someone does shorten her name (with the other clerics for ex), since Eli/Peli is moreso her father's nickname for her mother, but her siblings will call her El more often than not.

Opeli rediscovers loving her faith in a new way when Brielle wants to go into the order, even if there's some sadness too at seeing her daughter genuinely love the life/vows that Opeli eventually felt trapped in

Soren is mildly disappointed that none of his kids went into swordplay stuff the same way that he did, but he does ensure that all of them can defend themselves

The first time he saw Brynn poking around magic books, he was 8 years old and seeing Claudia again, hurrying over to snap it shut and accidentally snapping at her. Over time, and under Claudia's primal tutelage, Soren grew more and more okay with his kid being a mage... even if it still worries him

Which, frankly, Soren is more of the worrier about their kids, given that his childhood was more fraught than Opeli's (though she had her own struggles). Maybe it's prayer that centres her, or just how complicated he knows parent-child relationships can get with both his mom and his dad that unmoors him, but... He struggles, and finds his way through anyway

The twins definitely fight about Brielle wanting to stay in the castle and Brynn's long form wish to leave. When she does, she goes east to (Inner) Xadia. When Aster leaves, he goes west to the Pentarchy to learn politics and rhetoric, and discovers a particular penchant for Evenere and sailing

Aster and Prince Daryen are close because of their ages, and relate to having a lot to live up to / older siblings with bigger responsibilities (it's nice to have a cousin who understands). They don't have a ton in common but are closer, I think, to a young Harrow-Viren dynamic, just without all the baggage/inevitable fault lines. (Y'know, mostly)

Opeli takes care of the kiddos' hair, brushing it out for them in the mornings and evenings when it grows longer.

Of the three kids, only Aster gets married and has children of his own; Soren and Opeli greatly enjoy being grandparents.

Together, Brielle (as cleric) and Daryen (as high mage) fulfil two important pillars to his elder sister, Princess Sarai's, royal council. (One of Corvus and Terry's kids takes over agricultural affairs, and partially helps out as a baker.) Soren makes sure the crownguard is up to snuff before he retires, too
