i think dirkdaveroseroxy (strilondcest?) works really well.

roseroxy is true love, dirkdave is true love, daverose is fate, and daveroxy is cuteness.

dirkrose is hard because they don't agree on much, but they still have a special interest in each other. they love unraveling each others minds. dirkroxy bffs. they're just cool with it. even with dirk's qualms with everyone else though, his pure devotion for dave overpowers all of it and he's happy in the relationship.
