It's not often that I recommend books but these two take the cake at the moment these books are about friendship and bravery and knowing oneself. Code name Verity is honestly one of the most beautiful books I've read in a really long time as well as Rose Under Fire. The thing about Code name Verity is that it has such poignant friendships between Verity and Maddie. I’M SORRY THIS IS ABSURDLY LATE HAVE SOME BIRTHDAY FLUFF ANYWAYS
Sansa’s had a bad day at work. The coffee machine exploded on her, a customer exploded on her, and she wasn’t able to leave for lunch. Not to mention the fact that no one, including her WIFE remembered her birthday.
When she gets home, all she wants do is collapse onto the couch and lie in a pool of exhaustion and anger. Instead, when she turns on the light, she’s greeted by her entire family, all of her friends from work, and Margaery standing behind the kitchen table with an enormous pile of presents, a giant lemon cake and shit-eating grin on her face.
“Oh my god,” Sansa squeals, at the same time the party-goers all shout, “surprise!”
“I’d thought that you all forgot,” she says, and Arya rolls her eyes.
“As if we could EVER forget,” Arya says, “your wife called us all up MONTHS ago to make sure that it would be perfect.”
Sansa looks over to her, heart beating quickly in her chest and asks, “You did all this for me?”
“Of course, Sans,” Margaery says, “You’re worth this and more.” Sansa giggles, and smiles over at her wife.
“Alright,” she says, “you guys kept me waiting all day, so we’re having cake RIGHT NOW.”
She hears her brothers shout their assent, and Margaery smiles at her and says, “As my lady wishes.”

12. Which book do you recommend to friends and family most?
Hmm... Les Misérables is probably the book I’ve advertised the most to my friends and family. I even got the Finnish translation for mum as a Christmas present a while back because I wanted her to read it. Surprisingly, she did! So far she’s the only one though...
13. Which book is so special to you that you don’t share it with others?
Ooh, I’m not sure I have one? I’m pretty shy about book recommendations in general because my book taste is not very high-end, and I don’t want to recommend something I’m not quite certain the person would enjoy. But if I do find a book I really love, I don’t usually feel the need to keep it to myself either. There are books that I really enjoy that are so dumb I don’t share them with others, but that’s a different matter entirely XD
14. Do you have any signed books?
Huh, guess I don’t, at least none I can think of right now. Generally the authors I really love are either dead or foreign, so the chances of getting things signed is pretty slim. Oh wait actually I have a comic book autographed by Milla Paloniemi (in person too, so woo!), I think that’s the closest I’ve come. :D
