Spell gone wrong||Godric&Rose

Godric had been up in the astronomy tower preparing for a spell. If the signs were correct then the planets were aligning with certain celestial bodies. Salazar had left and as far as he knew he was dead and Helga and Rowena both died of old age with Helena also dead. Those he cared about most deeply were already dead. It was a terrible pain. That was until he noticed the alignment when he could try one last spell and he would die one way or another. Godric was a fighter and he wanted to live in another age. Perhaps teach again as he had been doing and see the advancement of his world. Even if he only lived a short time as the strain on his body may be too much He wanted to travel through time.

Pulling out a vial of potion after having one teacher there to move his body to his chambers should he fail and should he succeed he was to say that he left to travel the world before the end came. Drinking the silvery liquid in one gulp he looked up to the stars he looked down and holding his wand in hand he began brandishing his wand as sparks came out and with a step off the ledge he began falling and falling as the sparks surrounded him and then he was gone. The wizard did as was told and as far as magical record was concerned Godric Gryffindor left Hogwarts and was not seen again.

Over a thousand years passed before just above the ground by the astronomy tower a silver light appeared and Godric landed on the ground. He looked around seeing it was dark and almost exactly as he had left. Though the courtyard seemed a little different. He looked around for the teacher he had left on the ground as he looked around. It seemed oddly quiet. The centaurs were not chanting to the moon. Then he raised his arm and was going to stretch out a little but then he saw his skin he was tight and not wrinkled. He ran his free hand over his face now this was not a side effect that he had comprehended. The spell had not worked he was in the same place though young again.
