A strange new world--Rose+Ezekiel
All this time on the sea. Had he not had magic the trip would not have been as short or as problem free. He did love his magic and as much as he never would normally admit it for the first time in years he felt at peace. No distractions of any kind beyond his desire to find the werewolf that had been in Boston at the same time his parents had been killed. He knew that they had not been killed by a werewolf but there had been werewolves involved.
Ezekiel had gone as far on water as he could manage. Near Edinburgh he had to dock his ship and would travel south. For several days he traveled until finally his description caught someone's ear and they pointed him in the right direction. A few more days later he knew that the full moon was approaching, but knew he would be ready should he be attacked to subdue the animal. He found his home or well more of a shack, but no one was there and he found a picture of a mountain and a large forest. he was off instantly guessing that would be where he went on forced changes.
A days journey later and he saw the mountain and the large forest and started looking for tracks with the help of magic and caught a mixture of more prints than he knew what to track. There were a few different human tracks, but then there were what looked like horse tracks which made no sense in a forest. He walked through the day and into the early evening when he heard a mans voice then followed by a girls voice and he was worried it was the werewolf. Holding the hilt of a silver knife he moved slowly so he could look, but nothing could have prepared him for seeing what he was seeing. He took a step forward and had been so distracted at seeing what he was seeing he was not being careful and stepped on a small branch and it cracked revealing his presence. The man...no horse. He hated to use the word but he could not deny his eyes either. "How...who...what...?" Those were the only three words that escaped his lips.
