At just 18, Kara is about to start university, and she needs help covering the cost of a dorm, which is her only affordable option.

Thank you for the lovely message. I'm glad that you liked my ideas. Funnily enough, I've always head-cannoned Shanks as being, well...all of the above. He's a silly drunk who can be both a liberally open hearted lover and simultaneously the most sappily romantic and devoted partner one could ask for. These traits are not mutually exclusive, necessarily. People, including fictional characters, contain multitudes—But I could go on about that for hours, lol.
