Rose... Out of all of the AUs that you made, which one do you like writing the most- from any fandom that you're in?
Also, any AU concepts you enjoy yet you feel as though you could never do it justice in your writing? I ask the second question... because I do have such an AU.
Oooh, that's a hard one. I love so many of my aus and my favorites change often. I suppose right now, I'm really loving my Summon the Choir au for the DCA. But I also have my long time favorites I swear I'm going to post at some point. Like my Underlust focused Requiem, and the Poppy Playtime child reader Help Me, or my FNAF 2 au Dream Your Dream. Also Under His Eye, my Fnaf Mechanical Gods AU.
....See what I mean?
I suppose all of those would fall under the second question, it's why they're taking so long. I'm going to post them eventually, but I want to do them justice. But other than that, none that I can really think of off the top of my head. I'm sure there's some AUs that I thought of and then put down, simply because I didn't think I could write them properly. I think I feel more that way about my art honestly.
I try not to let that feeling get the best of me. But yeah, there's some art projects that I've put down because I just couldn't. I have some beautiful images in my head I'd like to get down some time, but I don't know if I ever will. :/
Also, little sneak peak of Summon the Choir down below for anyone interested. Because I can't help myself.
The bracelets are both a comfortable weight on your hands. You probably wouldn’t have even noticed them if you hadn’t noticed the light. Which is odd, considering you definitely haven’t worn something like these before.
These both look like they’d cost more than anything you could afford, and more than anything anyone you know could afford. It sets off an alarm in your mind that demands you get them off immediately.
Only as you flip your wrist looking for a clasp, you can’t find one. And the bands are too tight around your wrists to easily slip them off, which makes you question how they got on in the first place. It doesn’t quell the panic rising in your chest either as you pull and tug at the surprisingly sturdy things.
“I wouldn’t do that if I were you.” The low, raspy tone startles you, even with the person speaking barely above a whisper. “You’re just going to hurt yourself, after all.”
You tense, looking around with wide eyes for whoever talked.
“Who… Who’s there?” You weakly demand, fingers clenching into fists in the blankets around you.
“I thought we had already gone over this.” The voice chuckles, you still desperately trying to locate whoever’s speaking. You can’t find anyone in the room, and there’s not many places to hide in the tiny hotel room.
Your eyes snap to movement in the corner of them, widening at the shifting of shadows. They twist and turn to form a lean figure on the wall, with a round head that’s nearly bent from the corner of the ceiling. Something dangles from it that whips lazily around like the tail of an eel or snake. Or maybe a cat. Long fingers stretch over the back of a chair, hooked and nearly needle like. The shadows part in two spots of the head, making two big red eyes.
You feel like prey caught in the gaze of a much larger predator.
“I suppose I can remind you. I am Moon,” the shadow says, hunching over until his head is tilted nearly upside down.
“What- Why- How-?” You sputter, kicking back against the wall away from the shadow thing across the room from you. He twists again, straightening before hunching again as if getting a new angle.
“So many questions, Little Star. One at a time,” he rasps, giggling a little.
“What is happening?” You whisper, mostly to yourself. You wonder if you’ve finally lost it.
“You have just woken up and now we are talking, silly Little Star,” the shadow responds. “I thought that would have been obvious.”
The shadow twists and moves, to another wall. Under the window and closer to you. You nearly fling yourself across the bed and off of it to both keep the meager distance between you and an eye on it. The shadow somehow looks displeased.
“What- What are you and why are you here?” You demand, still rather weak and pathetically. The shadow’s tail flicks again, agitation.
“Hmmmn. I believe we’ve been over this too,” the shadow grumbles, red eyes kept locked on you. He disappears though, the shadows melding back into the darkness of the room and making you yelp. Your eyes desperately dart around the room again, though there’s no sign of the shadow thing. “But since you need another reminder…”
You jump, but are kept from flinging yourself off the bed by a large hand wrapping around your right hand and waist. Claws wrap delicately around your hand and bring it up, showing off the pretty bracelet again. A chest presses against your back, words whispered right into your ear.
“I’m here because of this shiny new trinket,” the shadow rumbles, shaking your hand back and forth lightly.
“What?” It barely leaves your throat, nearly caught in the fright of having the thing pressed so close to you.
“They won’t come off, Little Star. We had explained this last night. They bind you to us, and us to you,” the shadow reminds, thumb brushing over the jewel of the full moon. “They’re contracts, to be specific.”
You take a very visible gulp, the shadow still caressing the bracelet on your right hand. He doesn’t touch the one on the left, and that reminds you he used plural.
“A-and this one?” You ask, lifting your left hand. The shadow hums into your ear, then disappears just as suddenly as he appeared. Which makes you fall flat onto the bed again, but he reappears right above you on the ceiling.
“My brother. He will return soon with something for you to eat,” the shadow answers. You shiver.

For every 💬 I get in my inbox, I’ll post a quote from my own writing that I’m proud of!
From my original fic (context: MC is an empath having a breakdown, so “shoves away” is their empathetic signature. Nitika is Jalil’s wife):
Chandi tried to offer something, at one point. All I could do was shove her away. She was pregnant, I worked with poisons. Nitika tried to come in. I pushed her away for the same reason.
Finally, Jalil came. “I swear, if this is how I find out she’s pregnant…”
I paused and laughed, sound transitioning into a sob. “I’m good at my job?”
He pulled a soft white cloth from the spread of makeup and wiped the tear streaks off my cheeks. “You are. And I will defend your right to do it with my dying breath.”
Life was never very kind to you, but you never really knew any other way. You just tried to stay as quiet as possible and out of the way. You thought you were being good, you thought your parents loved you.
But you soon find out they don't, and their final betrayal changes your life completely.

Oookay! So, as a reminder, I'm using the original Dreamtale, or what I know of it, as building blocks for my version of it. Not everything will match and I'm altering things.
Dream and Nightmare were created as the guardians of the tree of positivity and negativity. Dream cared for the golden apples of positivity and Nightmare the black apples of negativity.
Who were they created by? Where did the tree come from? No one knows. The tree just sprouted one day and the twin came soon after. Best guess is ambient magic from nature, then the tree needed someone to guard and help care for it.
Either way, they were created and they were together. Brothers.
A village of Monsters and Humans grew soon, just down the hill where the tree resides. It flourished, and the twins grew curious. So they ventured to see it.
The village welcomed them in happily! They feasted, danced, made merry with them. Everything went well, for a while.
Dream was always the more outgoing of the twins, he had much more fun running and playing with the younger of the village. Creating games and generally making a bit of mischief. Along with helping care for the animals and farms.
Nightmare on the other hand, he was more reserved and soft-spoken. He could be coerced into a game or two, but he much preferred the quieter activities. A school teacher took him under his wing for a bit. Taught him to read and write, gave him a love of reading. He also liked sewing with the village ladies.
Things eventually.... started to go wrong though. The village started to suffer. Natural things really, a drought. A plague. It'd always bounce back, of course. But it was starting to weigh heavily on the people.
They knew about the tree. They began to blame it all on the negative side of it. That none of these bad things would happen if there wasn't that negativity, if the bad didn't exist. They started plotting, thinking.
Nightmare heard the whispers, though the villagers tried to keep it from the two. He tried to tell Dream, but.... he didn't want to ruin things for him. They were targeting his side of the tree after all, it was his problem.
Nightmare started pulling away from the village, stayed by the tree more instead of visiting the village. Pulled away from friends, and even eventually started distancing himself from Dream. Who was worried, but Nightmare wouldn't say. And so, the village pulled away from him too.
It was still a bit of a surprise when the villagers tried to attack. They were friends after all, Nightmare hadn't.... really thought they would go through with the threat. But scared and paranoid mortals, after all. He was betrayed, he was scared.
He couldn't let them destroy the tree, it wouldn't let him. The mortals would learn that they aren't just guardians, they were Gods.
Nightmare ate his apples, as he was told. It.. changed him. He punished the ones who tried to destroy the tree. Showed the others what would happen if they tried something similar.
Dream was... taken aback. He was horrified, but he knew.. this didn't come out of nowhere. Nightmare wouldn't do this without a reason. But.. he was also going too far, something was wrong.
He ate his apples, as he was told. He fought his brother, brought his rampage to a stop. He was angry too, for the destruction and secrecy. But there was still something wrong with Nightmare, he calmed down but he wasn't right.
The mortals began to worship the twins after that. Dream found this kind of... odd. But both went with it. Nightmare was a bit more... cruel than he used to be, more reserved. Dream himself pulled back a bit too. More skeptical and observant.
The mortals assigned the two as gods of more than they really had control over, but the two didn't really care. It was their stories, let the mortals have their fun.
They created a castle for the two to reside in. With a beautiful garden, which in the center resided the now dead tree.
The twins fought a lot more now, which gave rise to a lot of the universe's myths. Nightmare had to feed of negativity to keep his strength up, but Dream hated the purposeful misery. Nightmare had to find more sources, so he began something he didn't know he could do. He traveled to other universes.
It's there he found a potent source of misery..... and his future Queen, in this particular story anyway.
Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex is not the first place you'd like to be employed at, especially as the main guard for the Daycare. But, you need a job if you want any of your current goals realized. So, the Daycare at Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex it is. At least your sweet little cousin loves it there!
Though maybe it wasn't such a good idea in the end....
(I only have one chapter for this one)
~So This Is Wonderland~
Of course your bratty little cousin is getting to have his birthday party at Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex. And of course you're the one having to set the whole damn thing up, your mother forcing you to come along to help her. His parents are not even going to be there to help, because of course they aren't.
You wouldn't mind it so much if you didn't know that they hadn't done this a thousand times before, and that you're not even going to get a "thank you" from them for it. It seems like you've had to do everything for every single party since the brat's birth. There's no reason they couldn't do it themselves, they just don't want to. And you know the way you set it up won't be to their satisfaction, because it never is. They didn't even book the party, your mother did. You seriously doubt they even paid for it at this point, you wouldn't be surprised if they pawned that off to someone else either. Wouldn't be the first time.
Honestly, you're really sick of them.
But you're being forced into dealing with another year of it, your mother rambling on about everything that'll need to be done before the party starts as she drives to the location. She really needs to learn how to tell your aunt and uncle no, because this is ridiculous. You're not going to put up with this next year, or even for the rest of this year. After this party, you're done.
"Okay, you got all that?" Your mom asks, parking in a spot.
"Yeah," you grunt, getting out of the car to look up at the giant building before you.
"Alright. Remember this has to be perfect," your mother stresses, you looking at the back of her head in exasperation. "Kyle invited all his friends from school and their parents are obviously coming along with them. This is really important for Helen and Ronald."
Then maybe they should be here to set it up themselves.
You don't say that of course, but you definitely think it.
You follow behind your mother as she basically storms up to the entrance and into the crowd, heading for a line to one of the kiosks. The crowds aren't really that big at the moment, surprisingly, so it doesn't take you long to get to the counter and check in. Turns out the room you're in is in the Superstar Daycare, so you're heading that way.
You make sure to buy a pass yourself, just so you can eventually slip away from the party. No one needs to know that though.
You want to check out Glamrock Gifts eventually.
This place is huge, you note absently as you glance around. The giant gold-colored Freddy Fazbear statue in the middle of the room is a bit absurd in your opinion, but you have to admit it is cool looking. The checkered floors and fake palm trees are interesting, the neon lights nearly burning your eyes if you look too long. They do look cool built into the walls though. You like the art of the characters on the wall, and the screens built into the pillars and on the walls. Even if they are just advertisements. It's a well decorated area for sure, everything certainly matching the theme. Even the bright colors of the walls. Those little wet floor bots are adorable.
Everyone knows about Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex, every kid wants to have their birthday party here and even adults do half the time. Maybe people, adults and teenagers, come here for dates, and no one can shut up when they do get to visit finally. This place rides on the nostalgia of the past and the intrigue of the new things to see, the many attractions that the building hosts and definitely the animatronic mascots. And honestly it seems like the talk was worth it so far. This place looks amazing, even just the foyer. You can't even begin to imagine what the rest of the place looks like, but you hope you'll get to see it before the day ends.
You and your mother head up the stairs and to the right for the Daycare doors. Your eyes widen as the path opens up, showing a fountain before the pickup area. You note the vending machines for later too, then hurry after your mother as she keeps storming forward.
Your eyebrows raise at the gold statue that immediately greets you as you walk into the actual Daycare area, or two statues. You eye the sun themed jester thing, tilting your head a bit at the sight. Then you glance around at the tables and couches, some being filled with people already. As you walk around, you get a look at the Moon side. Which just raises your eyebrow further. Crouched a bit, arms spread out like they're getting ready to grab whoever's in front of them.
Seems... a bit menacing for a Daycare, doesn't it?
The bright colors definitely match the place though.
Your mom clears entry with the person at the desk, the two of you heading into one of the party rooms. You take a peek into the play area first, your eyebrows just raising in surprise. It's certainly expansive, giant play structures and ball pits that look like every toddler's dream come true. You can see a few kids having a heyday in there already, some of them playing with the Sun jester in the place with them. They certainly seem happy, screams of excitement and all. The jester certainly seems pleased, if their excited gestures and hopping is any indication.
A... bit creepy looking, but cute. Cute creepy. Creepy cute? ........ You like him.
You blink as the jester's head swivels and looks up towards where you're standing. You blink again as he goes still, just.... staring.....
After a moment of the staring contest, you raise a hand and wave at him. He continues staring for another long moment before he seems to snap out of it to joyfully wave back at you. For a moment anyway, until his attention is grabbed by one of the kids who he quickly rushes over to.
You don't get too much time to watch though, ushered into a room. The party decorations are placed in boxes, ready to be put into their respective places. Along with tables cleared, ready for the food to be put on it. It looks like you got two joined rooms, which is probably for the best. Adults at one table, kids at the other. It'll likely make them more happy and they're at an age where that shouldn't be a problem, and the adults have a good view of them anyways.
"You think they'd set up the decorations themselves!" Your mom groans in exasperation, making you just shrug as you head over to look into the boxes. Table cloths, party hats, confetti, plastic plates and silverware, plastic cups, balloons.... Looks like you have your work cut out for you.
You set the boxes onto the ground and take out the table cloths first, spreading them over the tables and adding a party hat to each seat. You should probably wait for the food to get here before putting the plates and silverware onto a table, just so the employees can set the food where it's supposed to be.
Spread the confetti out a bit, hopefully no one will mess with it but you're not getting your hopes up. Blow up the balloons and toss them. Set the presents on one of the tables already designated as the present table. You glance over to see what your mother is doing, only to scowl when you see she's on the phone instead of doing anything to help.
You let a breath out through your nose, then glance up as you hear the doors swoosh open. Your eyebrows raise again when you see a line of robots rolling into the room, all carrying a food dish. The.. generic ones with S.T.A.F.F. printed on the backs of them.
The S.T.A.F.F. bots set them on the tables in a seemingly random orderly fashion, then turn towards the door again. Filing out the same way they came in from, one by one. One pauses though, turning towards you.
You blink. The robot does nothing.
"Uhm.. Thank you!" You say, glancing away from the bot to look over the displayed food. You hesitantly look at the bot again, giving it a thumbs up. "Looks great!"
"Have a Faz-tastic day!" The bot replies in a monotone before then zipping out itself. You watch it go, blinking a few times before shaking your head and setting the plates and cups out. You then turn to set the second disposable tablecloth over the other table.
"Oh, good! You got everything out!" Your mom sighs, finally paying attention again from where she was on her phone. You hum noncommittedly, glancing over everything in a half hearted attempt to make sure everything's where it should be. Like it'll help when your aunt and uncle get here. "You could be a party decorator by now! That sounds fun, doesn't it?"
"Uh huh," you agree absentmindedly, not really paying attention. You just go about correcting some things while your mother rambles on in the background. At least until the birthday boy and his parents get here that is.
"Oh this.. this is awful," Helen frowns, looking over the decorations. "It's too childish! And is this really all the room we get?"
"You're in a children's pizzeria celebrating a child's birthday," you sigh, pinching your nose.
You thought the themed stuff was cute in all honesty. The tablecloths are decorated with the Glamrock's cartoony appearances like confetti and the balloons scattered around also sport their appearances.
"Is this all the food there is?" Ronald asks, turning to look back at your mother talking with Helen. "This isn't going to be enough!"
"I think it will!" Your mother says, coming to look over the food herself. She pulls something out of her bag, a receipt by the looks of it. "This was all the food in the package."
Your annoyance deepens as Kyle immediately tries ripping the tablecloth off while whining about it not being Monty themed. Luckily, you had fasteners to keep it on.
"This sucks! I hate it!" He then tries popping a Chica balloon when not immediately given an answer. "Where's the cake?!"
"It'll be coming in later!" Your mother replies while Ronald snatches the receipt out of her hand. Your grimace deepens, already tired.
At least some more people start coming in, cutting off all three's whining and your mother trying to placate them. Instead, Helen and Ronald start "talking" with the other adults while Kyle runs around with the other kids.
"So, your mother said you're the one that set out the decorations?" One of the parents asks, looking over at you. You just silently nod, making them huff. "Well, it's not bad. I know this place has better decorations than this, you should've had one of the workers doing it. I'm sure they could've set it up nicer and not made it so juvenile."
You take a deep breath.
"Definitely," Helen laughs. "She's never been very good at setting up for parties though, always the least helpful when there's so much to do already!"
Like she's ever the one setting anything up in the first place.
You take another deep breath and count down from ten.
"Honestly, she acts like a child," Helen continues, shaking her head. "And she's already out of school. Her mother coddled her too much, I think."
"Ah," the other parent hums, shaking her head.
Make it twenty.
Time to eat and leave this damn room as fast as humanly possible. You don't want to hear all this shit again.
You pause when you hear someone call your name, looking over to see one silver lining coming right for you. Your little cousin Rosalie latches onto your leg, smiling up at you.
"Hey Ro," you greet, kneeling down to give her a proper hug. You glance around for her parents, seeing them already walking off to the other side of the room. "How have you been?"
"Good," Rosalie replies, taking your hand as you stand.
"That's good," you grin, looking over the assortment of food being picked through by both kids and adults already. "How about we get something to eat?"
Rosalie nods, joining you in the line. You hand her a plate, setting some of the pizza you know she likes onto it along with grabbing some of your own favorites. You decide sitting at the end of the kid's table is less of a headache than the one for adults, Rosalie claiming your lap to sit on. Since there's not enough chairs for all the kids.
You glare at Kyle in warning, making him glare back at you before lowering the cheese he was about to throw at the little girl.
"I've been here before," Rosalie tells you.
"Yeah?" You ask, keeping an eye on the other kids and Kyle in case they try anything.
"Uh-huh," Rosalie hums around a bite of her pizza.
That honestly surprises you. You wouldn't have expected her parents to take her here, too much money to spend on a child is what you've heard. Though they hardly like spending a dollar for a chocolate bar on her, so that's not saying very much.
"Where'd you go? Did you meet any of the stars?" You ask curiously, taking a bite of your pizza afterwards.
"No. I went to the Daycare!" Rosalie tells you, making you hum.
"Really? Did you like it?" Your eyes narrow at one of the other kids for trying to throw their food. The other adults are not paying any attention to the kids, though you catch a few glances and laughs in your direction.
"Kind of," your cousin mutters, shrugging a shoulder. "I mostly colored. They had a lot of crayons and markers and-and they had glitter glue and googly eyes!"
"Wow! Really? That sounds like fun!" You gasp, chancing a look down at your little cousin again. She hums in agreement, finishing up her last slice of pizza. "What'd you think of Mr. Sun Man in there?"
"Mmmm. He's loud," she replies, you handing her a napkin to wipe her face with. "I liked the Daycare though. It's a lot more fun than staying home with the other babysitters."
"Yeah?" You ask, trying to quickly finish your greasy pizza slice.
Maybe you should go find the food court and get something else there. The two pieces you grabbed are hardly filling, and based on Rosalie's glance towards the tables she agrees. You're sure you can find the both of you something better though.
"Hey," you whisper to the little girl, glancing up and around for anyone watching. "How about we sneak down to the food court?"
"Why?" Rosalie asks, blinking at you.
"For some more food," you reply.
"I want some cake though," Rosalie pouts.
"Well, I heard there's a bakery somewhere around here," you grin, the girl's eyes widening. "If we can find it, I bet there's some amazing cakes in it."
"Okay, let's go!" Rosalie grins, grabbing your hand. You lead the little girl out without anyone saying anything, unsurprisingly. You doubt her parents care, since they've certainly never had a problem with it before. And you especially doubt it since they drop her on you every chance they can get. "Do you think we can visit the Daycare later?"
"Mmmm.." You look into the place again, seeing the kids in there are still going strong and the Sun Man is still happily chasing after them. "I think so."
"Yay!" Rosalie hops in her happiness, making you chuckle. Though she quickly sticks close to your leg again as you leave the pick up area and head for the elevators. "Woah. This place is so big."
You have to agree with the little girl, glancing out of the elevator and over the large atrium with raised eyebrows.
"Hi. Please take this map!" You let out a little screech at the sudden voice and face in yours. You blink at the hat wearing S.T.A.F.F. bot shoving a piece of paper at you. You hesitantly take it with a small "thank you" and it finally backs off, rolling a little bit away. "Thank you. Please enjoy."
"Uh. Yeah. Thank you," you mumble, tugging Rosalie out of her hiding place behind your legs. "Come on, Ro. Let's go see what food places we can find."
"Can we have more pizza?" She asks as you walk across the floor with you. You hum, glancing around the shops through the crowd.
"It looks like it, yeah!" You grin, guiding the little girl over to the line. It takes a bit, but you get to the front. You order a personal pizza for yourself and the little girl, and surprisingly don't have to wait long for them to come out. Finding a seat is the hardest part, but you're eventually able to.
Strangely, this pizza is less greasy and more filling. Tastes better too.
"Alright, now let's see. Where's that bakery?" You hum, looking over the map. Rosalie looks up, then starts bouncing a bit in her seat. "Ah-ha! There it is! Ready to go get something sweet?"
"Yes!" The little girl cheers. You throw the empty pizza boxes away, then head for the bakery Chica's apparently the mascot of. It's thankfully a bit quieter and has less people in it for some reason. You and Rosalie look through the display case and the options before making your orders, then seating yourselves at one of the few tables to eat them.
These little mini cakes are delicious. Rosalie is certainly enjoying her specialty Chica and Sun mix Strawberry Lemonade cake. You're personally enjoying a specialty Freddy Fazbear Chocolate Chunk yourself.
You didn't even know they had these specialties. You wouldn't either if you weren't looking closely at the menu. These specialties are pretty pricey though, you have to admit. But Rosalie looks very happy with her little cake, so you can't be too upset. Not something you're going to be able to do often though, luckily you saved up for this.
"All done?" You ask, Rosalie nodding as she licks her fingers. "Alright. Then we should head back to the Daycare! If you still want to go visit."
"Yes please!" The little girl nods. You both throw away your trash and head back, you having to get a Daycare Pass first. Though Rosalie hesitates at the top of the slide, looking back at you. "Will you come with me?"
"Uh," you look back at the S.T.A.F.F. checking passes. "Am I able to go in too?"
Its head tilts and is quiet for a moment.
"Have a Faz-tastic day!" It replies.
Well, you guess it doesn't have any objections? You guess you'll just have to ask the attendant if it's really okay when you get down there.
"Sure!" You grin. Rosalie still looks at the slide warily though. "Do you want me to go down first?"
Rosalie nods, you climbing into the slide with her confirmation. Hopefully it's big enough for an adult to go down.
"I'll call up and then you come down, okay?" You tell her, Rosalie nodding in response. You then push yourself down, your stomach flipping a bit before you're basically catapulted into a giant ballpit. You sputter, but stand back up and call for Rosalie to come down. Mostly ignoring the sounds behind you. You hear her squeal, backing up a bit so you're not bowled over. "There you are! Wasn't that fun?"
You help Rosalie back to her feet as she whines a bit. Though you're both startled by the voice suddenly right behind you.
"Heelll-lllooo! New friends! Welcome, welcome, welcome!"
He's been staring at you for the past hour. You can feel his gaze on you, heavy and unwavering. Not even a flicker to something else, you wonder if he's even blinked. You don't think he has.
You sigh, leaning back in your seat and giving up on doing anymore work for now. There’s just no way you can focus with the intense stare he’s giving you. You turn your eyes from the screen to the skeleton on the bed behind you, his gaze still not leaving you even with being caught.
You doubt he even really cares that he's been caught.
You’d be intimidated by the stare, you think most people would be. Your boyfriend is a rather intimidating Monster after all, and likely would still be even without the rumors circling around about when his kind did Underground. Most Monsters are though. Humans often cross the street whenever a Monster is coming towards them.
But your boyfriend in particular is built like a fucking brick house. He’s big, making you look like a child beside him. He towers over literally everyone in the room, no matter how tall they are or if he’s slouching. He’s as thick as he is tall too, sturdy and heavy. Half of his skull is gone, a jagged hole left behind and leaving cracks along the rest of it like a cracked egg. Both eye sockets have the cracks running through them, though one is empty. The other has a giant red eye light in it with a little black pupil inside it.
But what draws most people’s attention after the hole in his head, is the sharp and jagged teeth in his mouth. Which looks like they could sever your arm from your body with very little effort on his part. You know that he actually can do as such, and will if given enough provocation.
Pair his sharp teeth and intense gaze, which makes it seem like he wants to eat you, he makes for quite the imposing figure.
But you also know he’s a massive dork, and would in no way want to harm you. He may want to eat you, but not in the way he did to Humans in the Underground.
You let out a puff of air, giving the skeleton a pout.
"How am I supposed to concentrate on work when you're staring at me like that?" You ask, leaning onto the back of your chair. Sans finally gives a slow blink, but his gaze still doesn't move from you as he processes your question.
".... sorry," he says. Your pout lifts, a small smile tugging at the corner of your lips.
“Was there something you needed?” You ask, tilting your head a bit.
“... come here?” He asks, offering one massive hand to you. You contemplate the request for a second, then get up to walk over, letting him gently tug you into his embrace. You’re immediately pulled onto his chest, enveloped in his thick and warm coat.
“What’s got you so clingy?” You ask, resting your chin on your arms crossed over his chest. He just rumbles, gently nuzzling you. “Not feeling very chatty today, huh?”
Your boyfriend’s eye sockets just lid slightly, the rumbling in his chest still going in a contented purr. You hum, mindlessly drawing shapes on his shirt.
“That’s okay, we can just lay here too,” you sigh, nuzzling your head a little deeper into your arms and contentedly closing your eyes.
Sans lets out a breath, ruffling up your hair a bit. He fixes it for you though, then proceeds to just comb his massive claws through the locks. He scratches your scalp a bit with the dull ends, just the way he knows you like it, making you hum in contentment. His other hand barely moves, content to just rub his thumb up and down your back.
His rumbling purr is practically a lullaby, letting you drift off into a half sleep. It’s peaceful, he seems more than content and you are as well.
The sun shines down on you both from the window, gently warming up whatever it touches. He’s laying on a comfy, custom couch built for his size with you resting in his arms. You can hear Papyrus muttering to himself in the kitchen along with the slight clashing of pots and pans, a heavenly smell coming from the kitchen where he’s at. You can hear the chirping of birds outside the open window too, a slight breeze rustling the pretty white curtains you convinced the boys to let you put up.
This is more than he ever wanted, more than he thought he was ever going to get. Sometimes he just gets overwhelmed by it all, he likes to hold you as close as possible when he does. The sentimental giant that he is.
“I love you,” you murmur, making Sans’ purring hitch for a moment. It comes back with a vengeance though, nearly vibrating you in place. You giggle lightly as he almost desperately nuzzles the top of your head, grin soft and more than content.
You look up at the skeleton with a soft grin, giggling again when you see his eye light is big enough to nearly fill up his entire eye socket. You reach a hand out and cup the side of his head, gently rubbing your thumb over the bone. His eye sockets close even more, the man nuzzling into your hand.
“You’re so silly,” you whisper, just getting more purring in response. You just shake your head lightly, pulling yourself up enough to press your lips to his teeth. He cups the back of your head just enough to keep you there for a little longer, then lets you settle against his chest again. He happily goes back to carding his claws through your hair, twirling and twisting the strands around and around before letting them bounce back down.
“... love ya.. too,” he eventually whispers, making your smile widen just a bit more. You just nuzzle a bit closer to him, letting out a contented sigh.
Too bad the peace is shattered a moment later.
“GET OFF YOUR LAZY ASSES AND COME GET SOMETHING TO EAT!” Papyrus yells from the kitchen. Sans lets out an annoyed huff, but does slowly push himself into a seated position.
“Love you too, Paps!” you yawn, stretching out.
“SHUT UP AND GET IN HERE ALREADY.” Is Papyrus’ reply, just making you shake your head.
