Calvin and Pip wouldn’t leave out their cow, llama or their eldest chicken from a family photo! We know them better than that right?

The Greenwoods would be remiss not to mention the loved ones not present for this historic photo: Doctor Moses Greenwood and his lovely wife Hazel Greenwood.  Gone but not forgotten: Dwayne, Bear, Cletus, Margaret and many other little furry friends who have passed on throughout the seasons.

Oh Rosie Lou...

The eldest of the Greenwood children skipped out on the trip to the pumpkin patch with her baby sister for the same reason she has skipped out on a lot of things since losing her parents: She just can’t cope right now. And that’s okay!

Rosie Lou’s parents exemplified strong family values which Theo, her dear husband, picked up almost immediately after meeting them.  He gives her space to grieve, for however long she needs, and has put aside his own sadness to make sure the farm is taken care of and the children are fed and attended to.

You’re a good one, Theo.

Checked in on Rosie Lou and Crew, here’s what we found...

Tobias is now a fully functioning young adult who wants nothing more than to pack his bags and grab some land of his own.

Thadeus has been getting a LOT of attention from the girls at Henford High and has lots of questions about such matters

Rosie Lou is eager to teach about “such matters” against the protests of her dear daughter Tabitha

As things settle down, Rosie Lou and Theo are confronted with the fact that they’ll be empty-nesters soon.  Theo wants to move far, far away and retire from the farm to somewhere tropical and warm (he’s a little obsessed with the idea). Rosie Lou can’t imagine life anywhere other than Old New Henford.  

What the two *can* agree on, is they’ve had a rich and rewarding life and spending these last seasons together is what matters most.

Thomas feels misunderstood.  Before he was forced to choose violence, he was just trying to innocently explain the household hierarchy (of which Tobias is at the bottom since Thomas is many days older).

After gathering the little cousins together for a photoshoot at the request of  Grandma Pip and Grandpa Calvin, The Greenwood-Taylor Crew took a few photos of their own to adorn their walls.

We know that the only thing constant is change, therefore, we know big changes are coming to the Greenwood-Taylor home, just up the hill in Old New Henford.  Rosie Lou and Theo are nearing their next stage in simulated life’s journey, Thadeus is waiting for his university acceptance letters (he’s hoping for Britechester U.) and Tabitha is just a day away from young adulthood (and wants nothing more than a good man and some farmland).

One thing that remains the same, however, is the family tradition of making their meals together, with love.
