Baby Shower Gift Part 2:

As I grew up I loved Totoro and after I did the Earthbound felt dolls I wanted to make these characters for my niece’s mobile crib also. I loved these characters and I just loved the adventure and sister bonding. Just watching the movie and listening to the music reminds me of my childhood, I hope Rosiely loves Totoro one day too. We will watch it a thousand times together until she does!! lol <3

A Baby Shower Gift:

Ever since I heard my Bro’s wife got pregnant, I started making these felt dolls as a gift. Thanks to Aiko Miyoko and her tutorial, I learned how to sew these babies. I had this idea for a baby shower gift and I wanted to make a mobile crib playing music from Earthbound while these characters were spinning from above. I know my Bro loved Earthbound while growing up as a kid and I wanted his kid to experience his joy and love of these characters. Plus Eight Melodies is such a nice song to listen too, his kid will fall asleep easily and peacefully. When I gave him the gift at the baby shower he cried, yeah he’ll be a great dad. I can’t wait to meet my niece, Rosiely <3.
