rossharrismusic: Liam, It’s been a whole year since we celebrated your birthday.
A whole year since I saw you for the last time.
Because of how life goes, we hadn’t managed to celebrate many of our Birthdays together – another of the many somethings I regret – but last year we did, both Birthday’s in one summer. Just like we were 12 years old again.
You’d had a nice few days. You’d been celebrated by the few good people around you. It was the final day of shooting Building The Band and I managed to make it in time to see the last few hours of shooting…“looking good in blue birthday boy!”
You had an early flight after the wrap party so we decided to stay up. I didn’t have an early flight, but a part of me knew I couldn’t leave.
We sat up till about 5am - a rare few hours alone - just two lads, all grown up (sort of) talking about life, listening to the music we’d been writing, and making plans…so many plans…(and then finished the night frantically packing your suitcase).
I gave you your birthday present – a new WBA shirt with ‘PAYNE 93’ on the back. I’ll never forget the shock on your face when you opened it; the boyish shock that you could still receive a nice surprise - it seems they were few and far between. A shock that broke my heart a little and has stuck with me since.
It’s now been a whole year since that birthday. A whole year since I’ve seen my young cousins face. The truth is, I sort of struggle to look at that face now. I will today though, so I can wish you a Happy Birthday.
Happy Birthday pal 🎈
Rob Harris’ IG post about Liam is telling.
He talks about some topics that have been a main subject for a while, and how what those 5 have lived.
“There simply weren’t enough good people in your life.”
He really makes it clear that there is so much that isn’t said about their time in the band and the continued struggles they still face. I am so glad he said something about how stunted these guys were in a way because they never learned who they really were before an identity was forced on them.
His words are so painful to read. But I’m glad he said them. The five of them have experienced trauma none of us will ever understand. We should all have a little more grace.

Following up about #justiceforliampayne and Liam's music
Part 6 (April 2025)
As most have alr known Harris, Liam's cousin spoke out on his social acc regarding Liam's passing last week.
The fact that he pointed out - Liam didnt have good time in his last days, the incident could be avoid, there is villains and justice will be done -- that speaks loud for this justice movement;
1. It means everything we said from the start was true, everything we'd questions on the narrations, those involved in this case; maya, roger, media, the hotel, the media circus surrounding his death are indeed true. All the fight & tears for the last 6 months are all for truth!
2. though it doesnt make us any relief bc even if justice uphold one day, it wont bring our Liam back. but we can say to the world with pride that Liam was a great human, a great hero, a great musician & artist and the dark knight of our time! And that he's a victim and innocent all the way through.
3. We had already known his family wont be able to win the fight in court, since the real mastermind behind this mess are way too powerful. But its not for nothing. Geoff constant fights are the determined factor that made the justice movement relevant to exist. bc they truly exposed their true colors by persistently corrupting liam's image on internet and tv shows - inhumanely - even after 6 months.
4. Now it is all boils down to his music and unreleased album and im glad most are in the same page about his music, especially this:
Just like Liam himself have said, he's unable to do the music he truly wanted, there are way too many artist composing on his first album and they keep pushing him an image he doesnt want to be represented. And so the justice movement now supposed to SHIFT ALL FOCUS ON HIS UNRELEASED ALBUM.
So now our next effort is to push his label to release his album using #ReleaseLP2 on all social media. if you are posting comments or contents about liam please add this tag too!!
5. Universal Music owned his unreleased album. this label in fact runs the whole music industry. but why some artist like Liam or louis names were never heard by the public or radio stations as often? (they have large fanbase even as soloist their shows always soldout so no one can say they are not loved).
5. everyone should know some artist or musician that goes on top of list, who's shove down from being mentioned on mainstream media no matter how talented, creative, popular they are - are intentionally chosen for a purpose. give this a watch as heads up:
Meet Lucian Grainge, the current head of Universal Music since 2010 and the man is a Jewish British.
If you had never known about the jews ✡️ conspiracy trying to control the world's economy sectors and dominate all high profiting industry, its time to open your eyes and ears wide. they are known for their DIVIDE & CONQUER tactics, even from historical perspective within societies. Having someone like Liam - who tried to unite everyone despite differences in race, faith, etc. through his music and charities, is a big NO for them.
this should give you some early exposure why some artist, actors and musicians are now exposing the corruption in entertainment industry and the devils that runs behind them.
Will continue on next part.

Wow Ross’ post says SO much while saying so little 😧🫣
Elliott Smith, Coming Up Roses
"Recently the fine people of monsterchildren.com helped me transfer the original 16mm negative from my video of Elliott Smith "Coming Up Roses". We pulled some hi-res scans for the print issue and a profile on my work with Elliott. Going through the footage I had a lot of feels. I wanted to share with his friends and fans. I present to you here the entire play back take we shot for the video back in 95. I was overcome with emotion watching the tenderness in which Elliott gently prompts Raul the back up singer when he is supposed to chime in with the harmony. The few moments that Elliott drops the music video facade and lets that shy smile his friends knew so well are precious to me. They give me life. I wish the same for you. From the album Elliott Smith on KIll Rock Stars."
