ummmm futch..?? im somewhere in the middle. i dont wear makeup except for very rare occasions, usually wear more masculine cut clothing but at the same time im okay with like wearing feminine clothing like leggings/skinny jeans or having longer hair and such. idk im more androgynous in my style, i guess

i honestly debated for a while on these two questions on whether or not i should go for full disclosure bc it’s probably not an answer most expect/want to hear. but hey, it’s my life, and i figure that if i had read about someone being in a similar situation to me when i was younger, then maybe i can make it easier for someone else down the road.

I’m putting these two together, because like….for frame of reference I’ve only been in a safe position to start dating women relatively recently (both in terms of like…actual physical well-being bc i dont live in a homophobic, religiously conservative environment anymore and bc ive been working through a lot of internalized shit (see: grew up in a very homophobic environment that continued throughout college and until i was maybe 23-24))

ANYWAYS, that being said, most of my dating experience comes from men bc it just be that way sadly. i did what i thought i was supposed to, and idk it’s weird to look back and “rate” them bc it was kind of a dark time in my life personally and bc i feel like a completely different person between then and now.

but, to get to the point, i have been on one (and yes, exactly one) date with a girl which i’ll use as both my best and worst date. it was a simple thing to go to a coffee shop and just talk to one another to get to know each other, and i did it before i started working on myself/my internalized homophobia bc…i moved out of Texas and into Arizona and was like, “ive spent 23 years of my life not being able to do what i wanna do so fuck it! im gonna date girls!” so, i got myself on OKCupid and i did the thing and it was simultaneously both the most exciting and absolutely terrible, anxiety-inducing experience i have ever experienced. to put it simply, i wasn’t ready at all to deal with the shit i had internalized my entire life - especially when it came in the form of all my fears in one nicely wrapped package. and, looking back, it’s embarrassing and it didn’t really go anywhere but idk. even with my head barely above water, i was able to do the thing i’d wanted to do my entire life. so…it’s a weird combination of terrible and great. sorry i dont have any cutesy or funny stories, anon. but i’ll get there one day :)12. hmmmmmmmmmm…..i’d like a girl who loves whatever it is she loves - whether it be her friends, me (lol), or whatever thing catches her eye - openly and passionately. i’m in absolute adoration of women who just live unapologetically and aren’t afraid to chase after what they want. it doesn’t even have to be anything huge or life changing, like…shit, it could be that they wanted to learn breakdancing so they just go out and do it, and i’d think they’re fucking amazing. this doesn’t mean my potential wife/girlfriend has to be immune to life and the anxieties that comes with it, but idk. i’d like someone who would inspire me to go beyond conventionality, if that makes sense17. hhhhhh well the first crush i ever had was on a girl named Cassie in first grade who sat across from me in choir class and i thought i just really, really, really, really wanted to be her friend. and hug her and hold her hand and stuff, idk

but the first crush i was completely and utterly aware of was on a girl named Rosa during my 7th grade year. she sat next to me in history class and we had to share our book sometimes bc she’d (or i’d) forget mine. i remember just sitting next to her not being able to focus on anything the teacher had to say bc my palms were so sweaty, and i couldnt stop thinking about how pretty she was. we were both in band and i would get so fucking flustered whenever she’d talk to me. it was such a confusing time but i loved every bit of it

45. At what age did you know you were a lesbian?

i think i’ve always been consciously aware of it on some level even if i didnt want to acknowledge it. i honestly distinctly remember thinking “i’m probably gay” when i was in first grade (which is 6 years old) when i was freaking out about whatever it was i was feeling for Cassie. but really, really knowing it and accepting it? that’s an entirely different story. i think it really started to become More Apparent to me on a unavoidable level when i turned 20, personally

i came out first to my sister as a lesbian when i was 23 or maybe at the tail end of 22 and then my parents shortly after that. and then my brother and his wife lastly after that.

47. Are you crushing on anyone at the moment (celebrity or otherwise)?

mmmmm…yes? no? maybe? i guess i wouldn’t characterize anything as a crush, but it’d probably have the potential to go there. although, i always have celebrity crushes bc im a gay foole

6. Favorite article of clothing?hmmmm it’s honestly probably my denim jacket bc it’s so….me? i like to collect patches and pins to add to it, and even if i dont get to wear it super often bc of the heat…it’s one of my favorite things to wear :)

Any haircut goals in the future? unfortunately bc of having to work i dont think ill get to do anything too crazy? but as for now i want to grow out the non shaved/buzzed portions of my hair so that it’s almost shoulder length ish? and then have my natural brown hair have an ombre to a golden blonde at the ends

If a woman wanted to woo you, what would be a surefire way to accomplish that?aaaaaaaaaaa…..well, i’m very gay, so i’m not sure if it’d take much, but hm. i would say each of the girls i’ve really fallen for have been similar in that…they always make sure to take extra notice of me/be very wary of me in ways i’m not expecting. i’m always really shocked/surprised when girls (or especially these girls) would take the extra time to actively ask for my opinion on something outside from everyone else and notice things about me that i was certain most people don’t care about/don’t notice.

a good example of when i knew i was very into a girl was when one of my past crushes sat down with me to talk about music i listen to and what i liked, and when i started to make excuses like “oh nothing special - i’m all over the place, really! we don’t have to listen to what i like, what do you like??” - her immediate response was to cut me off like mid-excuse and just repeat “what do you like?” really sincerely. or when we met up, i asked where she wanted to eat and gave her a bunch of options and asked what she felt like and her response was to take her to my favorite restaurant. and idk! just that level of attentiveness about things that i usually try to divert attention from as im the one usually trying to accommodate others.

it usually really throws me for a loop and like, knowing i exist in this girl’s headspace in ways that would mostly go unnoticed and her making a point to pull me out of my self-diverting nature is really attractive to me.

What is your dream career?y’know, i kind of have two answers to this. 🤔 one of them is more feasible and other is “if i could possibly do one career in my life then i’d do this”. the first one is ultimately a web designer and/or graphic designer. i think i’d be really good at it,honestly and it’s something i can dedicated hours to with little issue. unfortunately, i’m not really keen on stopping my income to go to schooling for it at the moment as i would most likely go into debt. but anyways! hopefully in the future i find my way there

as for the second one…i would want to a voice actress hands down. i think i have some form of talent where that’s concerned, but again idek where to start on pursuing that. i think it’d just be an amazing thing to get to do and i’d love it

hmmmm….i’m probably some weird mix of futch or butch, honestly? probably if i lived in a colder climate, i’d wear button ups and flannels a lot more than i do, but since i live in a hellscape then it’s usually some combination of a black shirt, leggings (or jean shorts in summer bc it’s too damn hot to survive otherwise like this) and vans. sometimes i wear caps/snapbacks, and rarely ever accessorize aside from maybe a friendship bracelet i made sometime lsjkdlkf (i usually make them so tight that they just have to fall off from overuse and the elements bc that’s how they’re supposed to be made!!) some of my favorite articles of clothing that i own currently are my wine red vans, my denim jacket with some enamel pins and patches on it, and some different (black)shirts ive accumulated over the years. as far as personal appearances go, i’ve got a couple of tattoos (and am planning on much more in the future!) and an undercut that im letting the longer portions grow out a bit so i can color it something fun in the future. so yeah im obviously gay but idk where i land on the whole butch/futch thing20. tbh…i’d love to get to a point in my life where i could comfortably draw art and do coding without worrying too much about money or paying for essentials. that’s probably a long way off, but i’ve always wanted to be graphic designer/web designer of some sort and i’m not entirely sure if i’ll get there anytime soon. but hopefully! i have a lot of lofty dreams of things i’d like to do in my life, but i think most of all i’d like to just draw and make art even if it’s a side job :)
