Rossall Beach, on the borders of Cleveleys and Fleetwood, during the construction of a new sea wall. This will protect the area from a sea level rise of one or two feet, which should be plenty.

Rossall Beach, on the border of Fleetwood and Cleveleys, has an active residents' association. The plastic bins are for plastic litter. It would be typical if their attachments came loose in the next storm and the bins were washed out to sea.

An information board at Rossall Beach, destroyed by bad weather or vandals or both. Another information board is protected by a woolly hat.

Rossall Beach, on the border of Fleetwood and Cleveleys, has an active residents’ group, who organise volunteers to remove rubbish from the beach. Seaweed can stay, but plastic bottles have to go.

Sometimes there are also people in high vis jackets with “Community Payback” on them, picking up litter on the beach. I never photograph them in case they turn violent.
