I am absolutely fascinated with all the Vintage Power Plant Equipment and Controls at the historic Rossdale Power Plant in Edmonton’s North Saskatchewan River Valley. The BROWN BOVERI (CANADA) LIMITED equipment shown here was made sometime between 1 June 1946 and 12 October 1966. Those are the dates that this company operated in Canada under that name. • My brother @garrettpich and I went on a tour of this very interesting and intriguing place a couple of weeks ago. “The Prairie Sky Power Plant Tours give an opportunity for all Edmontonians and visitors alike to go behind the scenes in this historic building. During the one-hour tour guests will hear the indigenous story, the story of our city, and the story of the building itself. “ from the website https://edmonton.tours/powerplant • Tours currently run to the end of September. Cost: Adults $26.25 CDN each @edmontontours Source: https://www.can1business.com/company/Inactive-Amalgamated/Bbc-Brown-Boveri-Canada-Inc #edmontontours #yegstaycation #controlroom #PrairieSkyPowerPlantTours #RossdalePowerPlant #godisinthedetails #details #adventure #Edmonton #Alberta #Canada #YEG #architecture #heritagebuilding #outandabout (at Rossdale Power Plant) https://www.instagram.com/p/CE_6t7xnWYQ/?igshid=vc3iys00oqel
