Erin would hit Drosera, were she not in a poor way. She leaned against a tree, panting and taking the moment to wipe the blood from her mouth. Whoever those men in red were, they weren't friendly, and had expressed desire in the "heathen" she was allegedly harboring. Nothing a couple fire arrows couldn't fix, but still they were stubborn and resilient, managing to get her with their iron hammers in a moment of weakness.

Though not the best sneak in the world, Erin had made sure they weren't followed. So, obviously it was the Pagan man's fault they'd been tracked down.

Minerva stretched her arms languidly as she strolled down the stairs from Angelwatch.  It was an uncharacteristically quiet night.  True to its own facade, Angelwatch acted primarily as the public face of the Mechanist order, showcasing new technologies developed offsite.  Often these showcases were made a banquet of at the headquarters and as far as Minerva could remember, there had been several weeks of banquets.  Luxurious as they were, too much of a good thing quickly becomes bad.

As she followed the long path out of the courtyard, she found herself back in familiar ground - the streets.  Only recently was she transferred from the quiet atmosphere of the Stonemarket Seminary, and thankfully despite the urban ambience of Dayport, the streets at night were just as peaceful.  Minerva figured it must be the presence of Angelwatch, in all its intimidating glory, that scared away the expected riffraff that lingered after sundown.

The Mechanist presence was strong here, seeing many familiar faces taking advantage of the lull in duties.  She felt safe enough to forgo her mace in her nightly strolls near Angelwatch, despite it being against regulations.  Minerva opted to take side streets less travelled to avoid her colleagues' scrutiny.  Her pace slowed as she the bells for the night vigils that tolled further in the distance, enjoying the crisp cool air.
