Yes!! These two are not mutually exclusive, in fact, they can be helpful to each other, both plurality to roleplay and roleplay to plurality!

People who are plural are allowed to have fun and do things those who aren't plural do!!

Also, on my point that roleplay can be helpful to plurality, some willogenic systems use roleplay to help develop headmates. And that's a valid method and it doesn't change the realness of their plurality!!!
