just finished fools quest btw. amber and fitz……. theyre so special

1) the way fitz keeps comparing amber to molly

2) imagine being malta (or anyone else from liveships series for that matter) and knowing that amber is down bad for that guy she literally carved paragon as and being like okay whatever some random guy she had a crush on and then she comes back YEARS later with that man, appearing out of of nowhere, and its a fucking PRINCE of six duchies. i would be more invested in ambers live then in my own at this point

the thing is i almost finished the fools errand and i love it but unfortunately i feel like i am doomed to compare every next rote book to the farseer trilogy. i dont think anything will make me feel the way the farseer trilogy trilogy made me feel when i went blindly into reading it and how it felt to get to know fitz and this world through this immense character study of this boy growing up and watching him become so fucked up and god it was just so good

i genuinely have to check what im reading every time because someone says fools quest or fools errand or whatever and it seems i just cant remember which is which, ive been going through it when reading tawny man and im going through it now too

i love all of rote. but god, the farseer trilogy will be always something else in my heart. the farseer trilogy i miss you baby

Did you finish ass quest? Ranking for the trilogy?

YESS god it was so good!!! im currently reading the mad ship 👀 ranking auuuch its hard i loved each book and its so hard to rank them!! each covers a different stage of fitz’s growing up and does it so well… ass quest and royal ass are on top definitely, probably ass quest is my fav and it was such a satisfying end to the trilogy… but i loved assassin’s apprentice as well 😔❤️
