A thing i have noticed that probably doesn’t have any higher meaning but

Has anyone noticed how Jack has green skin,

While the other rotlings have reddish brown skin?

Now you may say “oh, that this is just lighting thing” but,,

Jack definitely has green skin .

And considering that a third of the smiling dead have green skin as well and are the protagonists, i think jack might help them/reconcile with them at some point.

But those are just my thoughts, we do only have one episode after all.

I like to think if you gave a rotling enough love and care you could break the recycling undying flesh curse part of their existence, but unlike how using Sin cures them of it doesn't actually physically change them. Rebirth doesn't have to be literal, it can be under the hood affairs. You don't need skin anyways that's just what Big Flesh wants you to think.
