So. To keep myself from burning out on making #xwingminiatures #holders I’ve been working on this #rotocaster #design for the past week while holders are #3dprinting. Hopefully I’ll have it done soon so I can start building it. Now some of you may be wondering why I would want to build one. And the answer is because when I start making larger prints and molds I will want to save on weight and resin. So making it hollow is the best thing to do. X3 if I see that there is a demand for this than I may sell it as a kit on my Etsy. But for now I’m making it for myself. Its really not mine, but is it really is going to be so much fun.
If you aren’t familiar with Roto casting, it works by spinning your mold. This way you can make lightweight parts using just a quarter of the resin. Also easier on the arms. It’s faster and less error prone than 3D printing.
