No amount of Mace hate will ever suffice to overcome Matt Stover's depiction of a warrior carrying the art of the lightsaber to its zenith, all ok the name of keeping the people of the Galaxy free from being fucked with by evil wizards.

I've seen a lot of praise towards Matthew Stover's novelisation of Revenge of the Sith but honestly nothing could have prepared me for how well written it was?

Look at this shit. It's so powerful. The whole thing is so poetic. The only film novelisation writer who understood the assignment imho.

every time i see a quote from the rots novelisation i lose my goddamn mind. if i actually read it i would spontaneously combust. sometimes i just lie awake in my bed at night and think about “this story happened a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away. it is already over. nothing can be done to change it”

Revenge of the Sith novelisation by Matthew Stover is the bomb

Towards the end of Chapter 11, Windu, Yoda, and Obi-Wan are talking about light, dark, and the Force.

And they hit the nail right on the head. Mace Windu says that the Jedi have brought imbalance to the world. After the death of Darth Bane, there have only been two Sith at any given time but the number of Jedi have grown.

They literally were RIGHT THERE at the answer. smh. sometimes, such smart, powerful people can be so stoooopid.
