Witchtober day 6 - Charlotte

Since I've literally done every other Charlotte already, today I chose my rotten witch for her: Mogu Mogu Lotta Lotta

This design is a bit different to my old one, I just wanted to make it scarier and bigger. She's like a big slug

More rotten witches, this time mobage and Magia Record

Kythira/sewing witch: (unnamed); Janice/diva witch: Come a little closer; Ava/cell witch: (unnamed); Candy: She’s the star; and Stacey: Why do I need to rot?

(Kythira) This rotten witch is a busy one. You can find it alone in a warehouse or an alleyway. The sound of a machine echoes around. Chukka chukka chukka goes the needle. It runs along the fabric, sewing the ends together. This thing seems to sew together crude images of girls that are happy. It won't do a thing unless disturbed, then it throws aside its work and flips around. At the other end of this thing are scissors.

Come a little closer is the most beautiful thing you’ve ever seen. At the edge of your death you see a parade of masked gentlemen who guide you to her shell. She’s sitting seductively. Come come a little closer she will whisper. But it will sound like she’s right by you. When the shell closes she will smile and open her chest, the ribcage opens and ribbons will pull you inside.

(Ava) This rotten witch can not be seen often. It hides in places so little people go. An oil rig. A harbour seafloor. The thing sees an empty bottle that is thrown into the sea and it will rise. This thing is made of a cursed liquid. It pulls every human in sight into it. The skin is peeled off at a single touch. When it finds the criminal it knows by the taste. And then it returns to where it came.

She’s the star will never go on stage. That thing is just the animal, it simply carries a beautiful, singing box to distract you. Don’t look at me, it will whisper. If a soul comes to bother the feeble looking thing it throws a tantrum. The head will part and there will be a new audience member. Oh... that thing feels a little better now. You actually want to watch? It will ask. That thing does a little jig but then returns to feeling sad.

Why do I need to rot just stands there. It forgot to rot and is standing idly. The familiars of the former witch poke and prod. Go on! Go on and choose! You can be anything! They call. They want that thing to look just as amazing as the rest. But that useless little thing just repeats its name. Why why do I need to rot? It will ask. Stupid! The familiars cry.

Rotten witches for Josephene (giraffe witch): Belladonna Latrielle; Roberta: together; and Rebecca: Dreamcatcher

Belladonna Latrielle is a beautiful woman. When she visits your city people flock from all around. There are big queues just to look at her. She smiles so well. If you look closely there seems to be someone behind her. It wears a mask, a useless malnourished thing. We’ll forget about it.

Together looks at you with cold eyes. It isn’t alone. You hear it utter this: what does an eye look like? I can’t see her face anymore.

Dreamcatcher is a bed, a pretty little bed. Its headboard is curled and decorated. The duvet and cushions; you want to jump in! You go to sleep quickly and when you awake there’s something there. The head rolls and clicks, the arms hang limply from poles. It is not a benevolent thing.

Rotten witch H.N. Elly: Look at me; and Albertine: here lies

Look at me is a star and everyone can see it. It is so wonderful I wish I had its confidence. The familiars dance too and they record its every move which is just what it wants. The carriage is a familiar too, isn’t it a shame the cameras don’t catch it much. Its eyes are never on. It never stops performing because it doesn’t need time alone. It needs to be watched.

here lies is wandering, looking for a funeral that is missing its body. It wants to take the place and go inside the coffin. The familiars wail behind it saying please stop. It has a horse that carries it along. There is something inside that horse that makes it go faster.

Rotten witches Charlotte: Mogu Mogu Lotta Lotta; and Gisela: Steamroller Gisela

Mogu Mogu Lotta Lotta crawls around looking for food. Its teeth are blunt and quite useless but it can still eat. It does not bite. It chews. It has hands around its mouth to grab close food. The familiars sweep the food into the mouth. They keep themselves cleansed so the thing wont mistake them for food. 

Steamroller Gisela searches for someone but not it or the familiars know who. The familiars find it hard to keep up with it so often catch bits of buildings and other things in them. Some of the familiars have sirens caught in them that warn people when the thing is coming near. If you are in front of it you are already dead.

Rotten witches Gertrud: Die Königin Guillotine; Suleika: Black Hole Evisceration; and Esther/The witch of dreams: Happy Birthday _!

Die Königin Guillotine is a regretful thing. It spent so long trying to get what it wanted and now just wrecks it up. Slice slice go the familiar. Grind Grind go the thing. It wants to cut you up.

Black Hole Evisceration will not try to attack you. It’s just there in the sky. Why are there little black dogs surrounding the bottom? When I go closer they have no face... Oh... This dying star shines brightly but then it explodes and the ooze falls from the eyes, nose, and through the cracks in the teeth. You will drown in the remnants of this star. That ooze will not stop spreading, eating up everything. I hope it will be reborn again someday.

Happy Birthday _! Is a happy little girl! She invited you to her birthday party! Why is that? Because she’s never had one before, tee hee! There are happy little elephants that parade. They take your present and strap it to their backs. It goes to the birthday girl! What..? You don’t have a present?

How do you pick the names for your Rotten Witches?

I-It's usually nothing special... It's often the first name I think of that would suit...

Cause I do the design first then think of a name.

Gertrud's rw is Die Konigin Guillotine cause her design is a lawnmower. The name fits a destructive theme as well as the fact with all her familiars are like subjects, she's rather like a queen (Konigin is Queen in German).

So a lot of the girls are named like that. Though some names are based off their story/personality/theme etc etc. Like Esther (witch of dreams) is called 'happy birthday_!' to fit with her magical witch theme of never celebrating her birthday. And Zenobia is called seafoam parfait to fit with her beach theme, but I also thought it sounded cool..!
