Episode 6 - Long Lankin
This episode focuses on Roud 6, “Long Lankin.” One of the creepiest and most mysterious folk songs I've ever heard. It's from the Northern areas of Britain and dates back to at least the 15th century, possibly as far back as the 13th. One of those infamous "murder ballads." Sorry if this episode creeps you out too much... and sorry if it doesn't. It's Halloween after all, right?
