I've always wanted to join in an RP group!!! Though This is kind of my first time... can you tell me how RPing usually goes around here?
If you’re interested in Dangan ones there are quite a few around… honestly someone else could probably help you more if not. Tumblr RPs… seem to be quite different. A couple I’ve liked, a couple haven’t been so good. Usually how it works is that you make a new tumblr, usually a side blog but possibly a new one entirely, for your character. Then you write up starting posts as according to what’s going on in the RP and wait for replies all whilst waiting for RPs back! In some groups you send asks to other tumblr RP blogs and get RPs going that way. You can also RP through Skype and occasionally some chat sites like MSPARP which I recently discovered, too, but yeah. Usually RP groups are closed meaning you can only RP with others in the group but some others aren’t - it depends.
That’s all if you get in though, of course. Usually you read through the RP’s rules and send the group a little filled-out app just like you would on DA! Apart from it’s less fiddly and art is usually not required. I think you’d like it, RJ.
You should totally join Archive of Despair with me though. There’s a lot of nice people joining and I think you’d be a good fit. I linked the group already but you can check out the app here and maybe the rules and other stuff too.
