100 Little Things That Make Me Happy
100 Little Things That Make Me Happy
This month has been rough, no doubt about it. It seems to be the winter from hell, as far as germs are concerned. Since the semester started a month ago, I’ve had two separate stomach bugs, a strep and sinus infection combo, and now a cold. And it’s not just me–my family members and schoolmates with normal immune systems have been sick almost as much! So what are we to do? Well we could dwell on…

It was the kids’ last day of school today and luckily just a half day for them, too. Therefore I picked them up at 12:15pm with lunch in the back and we headed to the shots place where we ate first and got their shots afterwards. Back at home we played a few board games inside, did arts and crafts and coloring pages because it was freezing cold outside. Then we got ready for the club and had dinner with some of their friends there. AJ was working and serving our table which was hilarious. I drove to Chris afterwards. We hung out there for a while before we left for the theatre to watch the new Star Wars movie. It was my first Star Wars and in my opinion it’s a movie series worth watching! Have to catch up! Anyways when we got out there it was heavily snowing and 15cm of snow already fell! Also it was -21 degrees Celsius. I was literally about to die either of the cold or the icy streets. Somehow we managed to get home, where we freed my car from the snow so I could head home. Arriving there I jumped in my Onesie and was just happy being in my bed.
My dad, aunt and uncle went ice fishing today early in the morning, and on their way there, apparently the car slipped on black ice, therefore causing my dad's truck (which we've had ever since I could remember) to flip. Luckily, THANK GOODNESS, no one was majority injured. I mean, they were lucky. Holy crap. The car freaking FLIPPED. And I don't even want to imagine it. x_x Losing my dad and my aunt and uncle who has four young children all 6 years and down? No. ; W ; FFFF-- And the truck? I mean, it's weird to feel sentimental about it, but we've had that lame looking truck ever since I was a baby. It surprisingly held a lot of memories, and just. x_x I'm just glad everyone's alright.
Priscilla Wates is on her way to see her family one more time before leaving for London, thank God. But when a record-breaking blizzard hits South Dakota on her trip, she finds herself stranded on the side of the road. She faces waiting the blizzard out in a stranger's cabin or dying in the cold. But will she find warmth in the stranger's presence, or will Priscilla wall her heart off behind snowbanks? Either way, it's going to be a Rough Winter.
