Notice where you are open. In the body. Then extend that awareness to the heart and the mind. Where does the love flow freely, which thoughts seem easy and free? Notice which aspects of your overall being feel supple and flexible. Try to focus on where you are most uncluttered, uncovered, unlocked, unobstructed. Where can you see the light shining in. Where you have the most space. The easy and comfortable bits that you are happy to acknowledge . . The most navigable parts of your sea . . Start here, and become familiar with the current, and the way your vibration feels in these places so that they can become an anchor as you guide yourself though the more compressed and restricted places of the body, heart, the mind . . But make a deal with yourself that you will be as receptive to the shadow when you meet it, as you are to the light. You don't know what's coming in this life....but you know that if it comes to you, its part of your path. Your medicine. Your lessons to learn . . You don't know whether your strength will need to be in the muscles or of the spirit. You don't know if your freedom will present itself in the joints or the mind. But you know that you will continue to sail your seas. Set an intention for it to be with grace, through fair weather and through storms . . And each day you will learn more about managing your vessel and the rich complex beautiful frightening breathtaking waters it carries you through, on the journey to the self . .
