Goth's thread is gone and not archived to my knowledge but he had some confrontations during the ordeal with some of Samael's polycule members (Pas/RoundRams/pastelGeneticist and Eli/Deerfats/HoofusDoofus) who tried to downplay the abuse and claims of Goth (and anyone from FV really) and play up the professional victim angle that Samael specializes in, but Goth tore into them. There's a screengrab someone took of Pas arguing with Goth and Goth himself said he's got my permission to send and for you to post if you want. Pas is a very well known fat fur artist and has many more followers and success than Samael but their doubling down here is revolting and them and Eli deleted their tweets saying that Floraverse is not dangerous because of the negative feedback and wanting to look good is all they care about. i.imgur. com/vybxICg. png

It's so transparent that these people just like, never want their friends to take accountability. Even if that means their friend will continue to be an abuser or continue to enable abuse, taking accountability is considered to be 'worse'. That's the crux of the thought process here. The goal is to convince victims that it's somehow "better" to not talk about it, or that talking about it makes them a bad person. Anything to convince victims to shut the fuck up. Using Koboldium as another example:

It's the same idea here, there is a false equivalency set up between saying someone abused you or someone you care about, and "cruel harassment" and you don't want to be a cruel person who harasses others, right? So shut the fuck up.
When I say "anything" to make the victims shut the fuck up, I mean anything. Goth_gator fucking deactivated and there is a reason people felt that the safest place to talk about how Glip + Floraverse abused them for years was on fucking kiwifarms.
Because for the longest time the only place someone could talk about their experiences with these people and not be bullied - or rather "cruely harassed" into deleting was by talking about it on a hate forum.
These people are, frankly, vile. But they're not the only voices in the fatfur community I noticed.
And, yeah, I think blimp_marten hit the nail on the head.
