I can't seem to find an answer to this anywhere even though it seems like a really simple question. Am I supposed to put moisturizer on before or after putting on a hydrocolloid patch?
great question! so, the adhesive in hydrocolloid patches won’t stick if your skin is greasy or wet. what i do is, after cleansing, i ensure the spots where i’m applying patches are fully dry, i stick ‘em on, then i proceed with my leave-on products. if i want to combine patches and actives, i may dab a little bit of spot treatment on the blemish before i stick the patch on, always making sure the edges of the patch are in direct contact with the skin and that the spot treatment is just in the centre. hope this helps!
