Ley´s Release Corner Mar`22 - Boys Edition (1/3)
DISCLAIMER: This is all my personal opinion and most of the impressions are after first listening. So please keep in mind that my opinion can change and that I respect other opinions too. My rating is just based on how I like the song and has nothing to do with hate or anything else against an Artist. When I don't like a song it doesn't mean I don't appreciate the work and effort that are put into it.

Title: Bad News
Album: It´s ME, It´s WE (EP)

I heard a lot about this debut so I was pretty hyped up although I didn´t knew anything about this group, so I don´t know what I expectect but definitley not this energetic upbeating good mood song when it´s called "Bad News". I think it´s nothing really impressing but it may be a grower. The MV is also in this bright and refreshing theme but also not extremely special. Lyricaly it´s about their debut like they come and play after their rules and so on. The cheogaphy feels youthful but again not that special.
The whole album feels like it´s finally getting warmer and it´s time for the summer now. "Just A Little Bit" is a little bit heavier than the title but still feels bright and upbeating. "Find Me" goes into the EDM direction and has a very good rap part in it and it makes it so much fun to listen to it. "Next To YOU" is a pop ballade that showcase their vocals very well and I think this will be my favorite. "Bad At Love" feels light and refreshing and has a catchy melody.

Rating: 7/10 for It´s Me It´s We because I like their vocals and their rap line but the songs are not that outstanding for me

Again I´m not sure if this count but I guess so? The song surprised me expecially the lyrics which are all about the lust and desire. The MV fit them very well showing him in a glass box surrounded by ballet dancers with masks and later him on the bed. The beat is slow but powerful and we got a lot of hip hop.
"G.M.T" is strong and powerful setting the mood up with rock sounds that make it to my second favorite track on this EP. "Screwed Up" is very vibey. "Shut Up" is way more light than the other songs on this album but still has it´s own peronalitie because of the beat and his voice which made it´s very enjoyable. "Off" has a guitar sound and a strong beat and is also pretty good. "RACE" is my favorite with it´s instrumentals and everything but it was pre released in 2021 so sadly it doesn´t count in. The whole album´s vibes feel like the night.... dark, strong and powerful.

Rating: 7/10 for 2 because I like the dark style and the big amount of hip hop vibes it has

Mhhm I´m not really sure what I should think of this. It´s a light dreamy pop song, the MV feels kinda rememberable with a lot of very beautiful elements and even animals all adding to this dreamy vibe. But the song don´t do much for me like it´s not bad or anything but it´s missing something and I don´t know what.
The album starts with "Ghostin´" which is also the fastest song and it has a cool vibe. "What More Can I Do?" is a chill song that has major lo-fi vibes for me. "Shame" is also very calm and slow and feels very smooth. The song "When spring comes" is a pretty soft ballade that feels like a typical winter song but with an orchestra sound in the instrumentals which make the song feel very magical. "Satisfied" is an outro which a groovy sound but I think I would have liked this with a full version more.

Rating: 5,5/10 for 3RD DESIRE because the songs are sadly too slow and soft for me

I never heard of him before but I like what I hear here. I´m totally not sure in what genre this belongs and if this counts in but why not? It has a rocking sound and a little bit of a hip-hop vibe. The MV has the gangster vibe that fits the song very well.

I don´t know what to say. It´s their debut and it´s pretty good like the rap surprised me a lot and it bump the rating up because without it, I think the song almost would be boring. I totally look forward to their future releases. The MV has very beautiful scenes and a lot of changes in styles like from water to flora to space.
"Fix You Part1." is the intro in the album and I really look forward to if there will be a part 2 in the future because I liked it very much. "MY GIRL (for FAN)" is a funky song which is a solid love song. Lastly we got an english version of the title track and I´m pretty surprised that I like it more than the original version.

GANADARA are the basics of the korean alphabet like ABC. The song is definitely an earworm. The MV is very special. The song itself is kinda catchy and feels like a R&B song. Lyricwise, it's about understanding due language bondaries in the "Love Talk"-by-NCT-Dream-way if you get what I mean. The cheography is so smooth and satisfying to see, I love it.

This beautiful piece is so melancholic I can´t. His voice fits the mood so well and the MV adds so much to the sadness and the desperate feelings. The lyrics are about loving someone but you´ve made mistakes, so now you hate each other, but you regret what you have done and can´t stop loving that person and wanting them back.

Damit this is intense. The rocking sound and the vocals and everything is just so well done. I thought "Ghost Town" couldn´t be beaten, but I was wrong. And please watch that MV it´s so good giving of vampire vibes but it doesn´t have this dark & scary feeling if you know what I mean.
"BOO" sadly has an annoying instrumentation I can´t stand, although I love the rest of it. "DIA" is upbeating and has groovy vibes which made it a solid song. "Distance" feels more melanconic and is a beautiful ballade which I really like. "Ghost Town" was pre-released last month (Review here).

Rating: 7/10 for REFUGE because the title is the strongest song in it

Album: The Best Album `Needle & Bubble´ (Album)

This is the last comeback of NU´EST and it made me so emotional just knowing that. After 10 years they disband this year and I don´t want to know how it would feel like if I would like this group for tis long time. This pop ballade is perfect for the transition into the spring time and it has such a warm message but all I can feel is the melancholy because bisbandment is always hard and it feels so bittersweet. Especially in the MV I got these winter-but-soon-it´s-spring-vibe and it has a lot of references/homages to their other stuff.
The album consist of a lot of remastered versions of existing songs but we just count them all in, I just don´t point them all out. They are definitely a great pick for this compilation album. The only other complete new song next to "Again" is "GALAXY" and it has an interesting sound.

I´m totally not biased when I speak of Monsta X *coughs*. Kihyun just deserves everything. I love his voice so much and the rocking sound fits him so well. I love this song so much. He deserves to be the main vocal. And his looks in the MV I´m obsessed with it.
", (COMMA)" is also such a good song that shows his vocals very well. This could have been the title as well and I wouldn´complain at all. "RAIN" is such a vibe I instantly fell in love with like just go ahead and listen to it.
