Molly: “I see it look at Yasha and I just Blood Maledict. The full, fucked up one.”
Me, through floods of tears: THAT’S LOVE, BITCHES.
Frank immediately recognising the "that which does not kill me make me stronger" as a Friedrich Nietzsche quote. (not Kelly Clarkson)
Was there really ever a time y'all genuinely thought this man was cool lmfao??? he has always been: a gigantic fucking nerd. and good for him!!!
Lmfaooooo at Garcia's fond smile in the background as Trinity eagerly offers to put in a chest tube.
She's like yeeeeep, that's ma girl. She's not happy unless she gets at least one chest tube a day.
Robby: "Fucking Langdon-"
You could be, Robby, just think about it. You COULD be fucking Langdon, and wouldn't that be better for everyone. Just think about it.
Fucking HELL, robby. Emma just told him that one of his med students is sitting in the ambulance bay, covered in blood, staring into space and not responding to attempts to talk to him and he just...UTTERLY blanked it because he's too consumed with Duke's CT results. Like, I get it, that's his buddy, and he's all tied up in his 'to be or not to be' sabbatical but for FUCK'S sake, Robby.
What the fuck DO you need to get back a little scrap of human empathy???
I love they show us that Langdon still loves learning - and that he wants to be a good doctor and will take that information from anywhere.
We see Robby mentor him through 2 new procedures that he takes to no hesitation, no insecurity about being guided by a mentor even as an R4.
He makes a quip to Mel about how he can see 3 patients while she talks to Terrence - but once he realises that she's succeeding where he failed, he deliberately takes the time to stop and pause and observe and learn.
Experience is key. You don't just listen/learn from your superiors, you learn from anyone who can teach you something - which is everyone.
Jesus. Langdon was available/offered to jump in on the trauma and Robby took Ogilvie (MS4) up to the helipad and now only has Whitaker (R1) besides himself in a fucking water-slide-performed leg amputation.
ROBBY. HANDLE YOUR FUCKING SHIT BEFORE IT GETS SOMEONE KILLED.
Also this is 10000% more than Whitaker can/should be expected to handle. Robby, I know your guinea pig died and you're very sad about that and so you tried to just replace it but you have REPLACED IT WITH A FUCKING HAMSTER AND THE WHEEL YOU'RE ASKING HIM TO RUN ON IS TOO FUCKING BIG!!!!
