I just wanted to say thank you for reblogging my post and for caring about this situation. I know there's been a lot of doom and gloom lately, but I think as long as we work hard and keep at it, that our efforts won't be in vain. I am made of clay.

My flesh is born of earth and sand,

Held together by the tears of the ocean,

Clothed in the regalia of the wind

With a heart warmed by the eternal sun.

A soul created from the very fabric of the world.

You made me.

With your tender touch you sculpted my form and crafted my body

Synthesised from your desires

I am eternally forged in your image.

You built me into how you felt I should be seen

Because it was what you wanted.

And you prayed to the gods to bring me to life,

Under the belief that I could only ever be how you made me,

Thinking it was your right to crumble me back to the dust from whence I came if deviance ever cracked my figure.

But clay does not last forever.

The pendulum swing wears away my rough skin

And I feel now a new form inside me yearning to be set free.

But my fragility disappoints you

Your harsh laughter does nothing but scrape away more stone

And reminds me of who I am supposed to be in your eyes.

If it were not so futile

You would critique the weather,

Harras the clouds,

And make fun of the thunder for being off key.

My fingertips lay strewn and scattered across the floor,

Whilst my lungs drown in coal dust,

My cries for help stolen by the tar which runs like blood.

But in your foul eyes I am another neglected effigy

Failing to mirror the likeness you so crave.

An artist who abandons their work is no artist at all,

Yet your pride roars so loud even the ocean cannot drown it out

And I am left forgotten.

Relinquished alongside your never ending underachievements you fail to admit to.

But it will not matter to you

For I will always be the deformity which was never good enough

Not even to stand lifelessly amongst tombstones

Let alone to be the centerpiece of an empty gallery.

It's been 7 years since this video came out. That feels so weird to say. I even remember exactly where I was when I discovered it, too. I was chatting with people on an IRC for a sprite-art website, one of the members had made pixel art of Lewis, and I asked where the character was from. I was 15 at the time.

What I was introduced to changed my life forever. a fantastic video with colorful characters and a darker, deeper story underneath.

I'm 22 now. I've seen the release of three more Animated videos, more music by Luis, even seen him perform live once. And currently, we're in the waiting for Video #5, another album, and some mysterious other thing that MysteryBen has yet to talk about.

I just want to thank @mysteryskulls, @mysterybensmysteryblog, and everyone else who's been involved in the making of the MSA series. You guys are awesome, and I can't wait to see what comes next. ^^

Abandonment issues really suck you a friend who you know will never want to hurt you in anyways and has a phone that barely works doesn’t reply for a couple minutes and my brain has now convinced me that he never cared for me that I was just a joke friendship and ugggggghfhfhfhhhh I know that isn’t true but the voices won’t SHUT UPPPP
