Why I love strong, beautiful and inspiring women

That’s a simple answer. Becasue they make me want to be the best version of myself. These women all have something that I want. Success…..

Whether they are raising their families, stepping out looking glam, marketing their brands, they are doing it in the most classic way I can imagine. Quietly - working hard and not relying on anyone else to make it happen for them. Not stopping and on the constant quest for success. Competing against oneself is the healthiest way to get ahead. Not our sisters. A tip which a lot of us girls are yet to master but networking seems to be becoming a healthy trend. Success is best enjoyed when shared around.

The Roxy Jacenko’s of the world are the perfect example of this. Ministry of talent is yet another successful company she has started up to help other talented people of Australia get ahead and put out the best versions of themselves using her name. Not riding on her name but as a platform on which they can step to the next level of their careers. Reyna Xydis and Margaret Zhang also divine role models of using their know-how specific career go to skills to give talented Aussie’s that little extra oomf sometimes needed to wash that diamond out from the rough. A chance for some to be what they are capable of - fantastic.

I had a girlfriend message me out of the blue this morning to tell me I am one in a million friend. Things like this keep you going and when your driving to work after early morning immunisations and still manageing to put some make up on and look professional. They put a smile on your face for the rest of the day and hopefully you play it forward to another girlfriend, make their day happier and more successful.

Instagram and other forms of social media make it easy for us to do this with the likes of Roxy Jacenko commenting on one of my photos - she didn’t have to and Lord knows where she finds the time but in turn it makes me like her brand even more!

So the next time we are feeling like its a competition between me and the next girl. You probably have more in common that you think. Help a sister out and i’m sure professionally and emotionally it will give you a boost too.
