This piece features a startlingly gorgeous black woman who I have loving nicknamed as "Simone". She is basking in a small beam of golden sunlight on a cloudy day. She holds onto that small spark of hope even through the darker times.

This piece is hand-drawn from scratch so it is an entirely unique image. It is my first time drawing a hair texture like this with my tablet.
