Don’t get me wrong, I love Spoils and I long for the day that Bee can go back to writing it. George’s impending guilt in that verse gives me life. That verse entirely gives me life. Please bury me with it when I die.
This AU I’m writing for is something else, it is its own entity. Where Ben is a prince essentially sold off by his father to a neighboring kingdom to relieve some of the debts his father brought upon their kingdom. It’s going to have a heavy focus on Ben/Alex, especially at the beginning, while he adapts to his new life in this new family and kingdom. Along the way Ben gains more confidence, he gets a kitten, finds out that true family is not always related by blood, maybe there’s an insidious plot in the background? I don’t know yet. I’m figuring things out still. But it will be a ride.
