Royal Family Portrait

This is an artwork for my latest FGO fan fiction, an AU which Arturia has a royal harem. I will let you guess; whose kids are these?

I really love drawing Arturia as a mother. I don’t know why.

observation… theory (?!?!?) about Gray’s fgo design

this is a departure from her usual punk goth look… I love it so much though!! And while I was thinking abt why I like it so much I landed on that it reminds me of a selkie (I call Gray baby seal……)

I think it makes sense for this outfit (or just in general her character) to be inspired by a selkie because she is Welsh! Wales is one of the 6 Celtic nations and Selkies are seen in other Celtic mythology like Irish and Scottish, I haven’t found any direct welsh stories abt them though

also Gray is seen wrapped in her cloak most of the time and heavy themes of her character rely on the “transformation” of her body in the img of Artoria. Obv it’s not the same but when Gray takes off her hood and people see her in a different light it reminds me of selkies taking off their pelts and changing into women
