Okay so this is just a theory and I could be totally wrong but I think I have found evidence that Lilith is in Heaven as a hostage/political prisoner.

So we know that Lilith was uniting demon kind in Hell and that Heaven interpreted this as an uprising. We also know that 7 years ago Lilith mysteriously disappeared and that Lucifer agreed to the yearly exterminations. I 100% believe that Lucifer agreeing to the exterminations would not have happened if Lilith hadn’t been taken out of the way somehow because Lilith would have fought it, no way would she have agreed to the exterminations if she had been uniting sinners towards the goal of redemption.

In the song Hell is forever Adam says “Fair is fair, an eye for an eye”, I had never really noticed this before but when looking back over season 1 & 2, knowing that everything means something, I couldn’t help wondering what did he mean? I thought perhaps he was referring to the exterminations but the term eye for an eye refers to payback/revenge via an act that is equal/the same as the original act that inspired it. From what I know Hell has never killed angels en masse so this can’t be what Adam means. I think he is referring to the fact that Lilith is in Heaven. If Lilith’s deal is with Adam or if Adam was key in making a deal between Lilith and Sera happen in some way then I think Adam would see this as revenge against Lucifer. Especially if both Lilith and Lucifer were put into a position where they could not say no. In Adam’s eyes he took Lilith away from Lucifer the same way Lucifer took Lilith away from him. It would be a hollow revenge because Lilith chose Lucifer, she wasn’t taken but given Adam’s character I think it would make sense that he would put the blame onto Lucifer since he seems to really dislike other men (he doesn’t exactly treat women any better but he surrounds himself with them. I have never seen him actively engaging with any other men other than Alastor and Lucifer during the finale.)

Like I said I could be wrong and there are holes to this theory, particularly the fact that when Lucifer was making digs at Adam during their fight, Adam never clapped back with Lilith. This could be because he has been specifically instructed not to mention Lilith in anyway either by Heaven or it could be part of the deal but given how hot headed Adam is I think it pretty significant that he didn’t mention Lilith. I think it would fit his character so either the very unlikely possibility that Adam actually likes Lilith is what stayed his tongue or he is physically unable to speak about her.

I also think it is very interesting that it is only knows when things have changed, being Heaven (Sera) now believes in redemption and has decided to support Charlie’s efforts, only now does Lilith make contact with Charlie who has been ringing and texting her regularly for 7 years. I feel this supports that Lilith was in Heaven because she wasn’t given a choice and that she only stayed silent because Heaven forbid all contact between her and her daughter and husband.

We won’t know for sure until season 3 which I can’t wait for and I am sure there are lots of interesting and plausible theories but I just wanted to throw this out there ❤️‍🔥

This Hazbin Hotel collage of Lucifer Morningstar and Lilith, aka Charlie's parents. I can tell that Lucifer still loves Lilith from the way he still wears his ring, even though Lilith's presence in Heaven says that she may have betrayed her family for selfish reasons. I'm part of the group that's hoping that isn't the case and that Lilith only expected Adam and Lute's deal to protect them. Lilith is said to have a bigger role in season three and I hope that role isn't villain.

I didn’t expect for Lucifer to become my favorite character in Hazbin, but here we are.

I’m hoping our favorite duck obsessed little fallen angel will be alright and that his true wife (not taken over by Roo or Eve or kept prisoner in a deal with them) will return back to him and his daughter and they have a beautiful family reunion because I’M INVESTED IN THE MORNINGSTAR FAMILY NOW YOUR HONOR!

He just cares for them SO MUCH and misses his wife! I wanna see the happy family.
