Hollenne is my oldest Neopet, that I still have access to, anyway. I did not create him, but snatched him up from the pound when I saw him up for adoption. My first real great 'pound find'. He was Maraquan at the time, a colour far too rare, and thus, outside my budget as a child. As much as I was intent on keeping him forever, I was a bit disappointed by his feminine name and felt his male gender was 'incorrect'. Back in the day, changing a pet's gender was more difficult and expensive than it is now, but I had it in the back of my mind that I would eventually "correct" his gender. I eventually painted him Royal, which meant he acquired the Royal Boy (RB) set of clothes. After painting my other Peophin to Royal Girl (RG), Hollenne ended up becoming my first cross-painted pet, as I would swap the RB/RG Peophin clothes around.
Eventually, I grew to really love his name and gender combination, and now I think of him one of my trans Neopets. I find it heartwarming to think that I had a transgender Neopet before I even realized I was transgender myself. ʕ ´•̥̥̥ ᴥ•̥̥̥`ʔ Pictured above, Hollenne as he is right now-- A stealthy Peophin, completely minimal custom, with no clothes and a simple lily pad background.
Hollenne likes making friends. When meeting others, Hollenne would smile sweetly.
