JOFFREY & HIS SCARY-ASS MOM ARE BULLYING ME. ; --- ;
( @royalsadist & @wineinthewidow )
Kings Landing was an awful place to live but it was all she knew. Her father luckily had a proper job; being the royal kennel master. It paid good coin and it allowed Myranda to come and see behind the caste gates. That is how she’d met prince Joffrey.
She seemed to have caught his interest because, even though she was a low-born, he decided to offer her his time and attention and, in her eyes, friendship. It was much more than she could ask for, really. And she figured that the Queen never approved of such friendship ( for she knew that King Robert probably did not care enough to even have noticed ). Although for Myranda it was much more than a friendship--- not that she would ever admit so; she would only get rejected.
“Father’s training the pups; they are really getting vicious already.”
a starter for @royalsadist

@likehiisfather / @damnbutcher / @ofsugarandice / [insert twenty more of glitzy’s amazing blogs here] - Glitzy, glitzy, glitzy you are a phenomenal writer. I’ve admired your writing for however long we’ve been mutuals. It’s the kind of writing where you don’t need to know the character to enjoy it (let’s be real, by the time they’re done reading your work they’ll be diving into that fandom). You have the rare ability to take seemingly unredeemable assholes *cough* season 1 Charles Vane *cough* and make the readers, maybe not like the character but they understand their motives, and what makes them tick. We don’t talk very often but just know that your blogs are one of my ‘must haves’ on any dash.
@thepromiseofredemption - Not gonna lie, Emily when I first watched the trilogy I was very indifferent to James’ character. I think it was because he was strongly overshadowed by Jack Sparrow (it happens. he has a pretty big shadow). But since I’ve known you I’ve grown to love the bean pole in all his angsty glory. You’re a positive force in this fandom and someone who I am glad to be able to call a friend.
@royalsadist - Gotta include my fellow Joffery fan. Bringing his fan base up to 3 people. We should make T-shirts. Anyway, I’m honestly so glad to have discovered your blog because I adore Joffery as a character and your writing is spot on. I mean, when I read your ic things I hear Jack Gleeson. Your word choice in dialogue and writing style reflect the character very well. It’s always a nice thing to see a writer who doesn’t romanticize their characters flaws but instead embraces them, yet still, you manage to remind us that Joffrey was not the monster under our beds but someone made of flesh and blood. While we may remember Joffrey for his most heinous acts they do not define him as a character. And you manage to portray all that beautifully. Thank you for shining such wonderful insights into character.
My favourite thing, Presidents talking with Joffrey
