I have no idea if there's an audience for this, but I love both FMA and Carry On, and I became invested in how those might intersect. What if Roy Mustang was the ambitious but misguided Mage? Would he be a different mentor this time? How would the adult Elrics fare with a magical school? And what if the Humdrum was an entirely different threat? Warning: some wild messing with both canons, tagged, but I hope it’s worth it. (Carry On prior knowledge optional)
