OH BOY. i can't commit to a top five but here are five in no particular order. does this mean you're going to write them?? 👀
maybe six months ago @curious-earth prompted pre-canon fic where roy and rebecca almost hook up but decide not to and i've been thinking about it ever since. (this is the soup story!)
they're waiting a long time for something. sitting down. rebecca does a crossword puzzle on her phone and roy sort of helps but eventually just lays his head on her shoulder
they fuck in rebecca's office after she yells at him for not doing the press conference/refusing to participate in his life. roy likes to be told off when he's been bad! rebecca is pleased that he's going after what he wants
roy and rebecca watch the (women's) world cup with phoebe. england loses to the US. rebecca and phoebe wear matching rachel daly kits
roy and rebecca eat lunch. they're not together but maybe they will be. he's just started therapy with sharon and can actually share his feelings/frustrations/hopes. maybe they talk about him screwing things up with keeley
