So part of this is sharing the ships I've narrowed down as the ones I want to include in a fic, another part is asking for advice. I'm mainly focusing on batfam, but if there are any non-batfam ships you think I should keep in mind when writing it, feel free to suggest.
Bruce Wayne/Selina Kyle: Batcat I am not against Brutalia or Superbat, I just like LoisClark and Single Mom Talia tbh. Selina is an interesting foil to Bruce as she started off as a Thief. I like the Bruce/Oilver as a collage or boarding school fling.
Dick Grayson/Koriand'r/Barbara Gordon: DickKoryBabs So, Dick is probably the fruitiest member of the bat family, but I find the idea that he's the token straight in the family. Also Kori and Babs feel like they come together very well but I definately need to study their personalities more.
Jason Todd/Roy Harper/Artemis of Bana-Mighdall: Joytemis? JayRoyArt? I like the idea that Jason sortof ended up getting a redhead preference imprinted on him by Dick's choice of company. So, as a normal batfam fan, I also don't know much about Roy or Artemis's personalities so more to study I guess.
Tim Drake/Stephenie Brown/Conner Kent/Cassandra Sandspark: TimKonStephCissie? TimStephKonCissie? Tim seems like the sort of nerd to stumble into a poly relationship and get roped in, he's not sure how he got there but they're all charmed by his tism. I do feel like Steph should have joined the team with Tim or gotten her own team at the same time. From my limited knoweledge, it does feel like they leave the batgirls out of the teamups. I might get a bit of flak because I'm not sure about Bernard, like its a cute ship, but I do prefer relationships betwen Heroes. Civilian ships do often make characters feel more grounded though so I get why people like them. I wonder how acceptable using Kon's young justice characterisation is for this? I get it's not the same as the comics. I don't know much about Cassandra Sandspark though, so another reasearch topic.
Damian Wayne/Jon Kent: DamiJon I don't have much of an explinaiton, I just only really see them as this ship. Are there any other Dami ship options that people like?
So, I'm mainly bringing this up because I have no idea what ship options are for Duke and Cass? I know Cass is often shipped with Steph, so should she join that poly relationship or should Bart be slotted in and Steph and Cass have their own thing, maybe with Harper Row? No clue where to start with Duke.
By the end, I'm wondering if I should even be allowed to write fanfiction, but I have thumbs and I know how to type.
