What is your opinion on Sakashita?? Like, do you think of him as a friend, ally, or something?? And have you made any friends or allies in the Ōoku??

I quite like him, and I've grown fond of some of the Ōoku's other residents as well.

Sakashita himself holds a lot of what I like about humans.

Have you ever travelled to other countries outside of Japan? As in for fun/vacation, for business/trade, or to deal with mononoke or similar beings? I'm wondering if that's possible, since you're the Medicine Seller. Otherwise, if you haven't yet, which places do you want to visit?

Yes, I've been across the sea a few times. I've wandered a fair bit across East Asia, and a little bit into Europe and India. It was mostly for work, to acquire new wares or to tend to the sick, but that's hardly to say the excursions are without pleasure.

And I've heard some interesting things about lands further yet, but until I'm sent there, I content myself where I am.

Where do mononoke go after being slain? What happens if a medicine seller doesn't make it? Is there a retrieval mission to get them back?

The mononoke ceases to be when put to rest, but of the constituent parts- that of the human and ayakashi- it really depends on the case.

But even considering the frequent circumstances of failure...

... Someone still has to finish the job.

It is truly a best-case scenario if we have something to bring home.

Doesn't a Hinnagami come after human greed? Since this young lady seems to be all alone and have very little friends, if at all... Is it too farfetched to assume her lonelyness and lack of connections make her a good "candidate" for someone to desire more and more and more in life? So far she doesn't strike me as someone going out of their way to create something of that bature, but...

Botan cares as much as she can for the entire Ooku, but from what manages to trickle out of the gate, Iwa is a bit more attached to her than is reciprocated.
