Conrad’s attention perked up at the moment he heard Isaac’s voice speaking to him. Did he see what was being added in at the time? Hopefully not, though with how Isaac’s tone was, and the package of tea that was brought, it was apparent that he picked a bad time for this.
“No worries, I don’t mind a little bit of tea on occasion with visitors. I didn’t expect you to come in unannounced.” He stated, trying to act a bit calm about this. Though really a part of him was quite a bit concerned that Isaac may say something to compromise his reputation with what he had earlier.
“Regardless…what brings you in during this time.”
There Isaac stood, a to-go cup of tea in each hand with a disappointed look on his face. Coffee, coffee everywhere...
As for the blood, as much as it squicked Isaac he knew Conrad was a Vampire and that was how they sustained themselves. It wasn’t at all polite to comment on it.
Immedately Isaac’s usual friendly expression came back. “Glad to hear, two cups of tea at once is a bit much for me.” He set one down on Conrad’s desk and leaned on it, sipping at his own cup. “Sorry, this is one of those ‘in the neighborhood’ kind of visits. The G.O.A.S.T. said things were quiet here, so I thought a bit of company wouldn’t be an imposition.”
“Really, just wanting to hang out with you more. I normally only come here on work, so I thought I’d make a personal visit for once.”
