Repressed pharmacist
So im a year old pharmacist in a third world country. This is my first time writing something on my blog. Just want to share some of my daily experiences in the pharmacy.
Just facts before i tell you any stories. Remember, im from a third world country so some of the pharmacy rules dont apply here. We give prescription drugs by pieces and without a prescription, whatsoever. We only get strict with high alert medications, like antipsychotics, opioid analgesics and antibacterials. We also don't bother ourselves talking to physicians about the patient's medical and drug history. Sure, we counsel them and talk to them what and how their medication work. Other than that, none.
People here in this country, refer to us, as glorified salesperson. They're not wrong, entirely. We just get timid changing the people's view. We know we're more than just salesperson. In my point of view, i don't bother myself explaining and teaching these people because, i assume they're too stupid to understand me or they don't care.
Having this idea in mind, i hope you'll understand my point of view and get a clear idea about the stories, i'll try to share everyday.
