rocky horror picture show is an outdated, badly-aged, bigoted movie from like 50 years ago. and if it was left at that, i literally would not give a shit in the slightest.

the problem is that people still fucking hold it up as some great piece of queer media and trans representation. people still go to rescreenings of that movie. cis ally parents still show that movie to their trans children.

and just by coincidence, the people holding it up are NEVER FUCKING TRANS WOMEN

I will never get over how when Frank n furter has the gang under control he only refers to himself as Frankie and nothing else, a much feminised version of the name he uses normally. Combined with their song later on about how they wanted to be beautiful and feminine and how they felt dysphoric makes me go INSANE,,, TRANSGENDERS
