2+ WEEKS LATER UPDATE

HIII everyone! I’ve been gone for about 2 billion years now, and I’ve got some ‘splaining to do. Basically, I’ve stopped playing sims. It just sorta lost its charm for me. I don’t enjoy setting up the story and everything for Garden Legacy, and I don’t want to transcribe what’s going on in my Human Enough challenge, and I don’t want to work on the Bachelor Challenge when I’m so burned out. It sucks, I know, but I don’t want to do something I’m only gonna half ass. 

So, this blog is on indefinite hiatus. Maybe I’ll come back to it eventually, maybe after I find a way to get rid of all the cc in my game (I really hate how much room it’s taking up on my computer and whatever...), but for now, say by to my sims. You can definitely read through the story and everything, and if enough people demand it, I might pick it back up. I REALLY want to continue the legacy, and I love the story, but... like I said, no motivation or inspiration.

Check In

You've all noticed I haven't posted anything in a long time now, I'm sure. I've been playing with my Human Enough save, and I'm having much more fun playing without the pressure of writing a story around it. I'm sure I'll eventually get back to my Garden Legacy, but it's probably gonna be a while. Hope y'all understand and are okay with waiting ❤

The funniest part of this blog is that I haven't touched it for over a week now and yet the amount of followers I've gotten in that time is crazy. Really says something about me 🤔

Jk jk, but I'm crazy uninspired as of late--well, of taking screenshots and such. I'm having so much fun with my Human Enough save (they got married and had 3 kids!!!) But I enjoy playing more than posting, I guess. I might be able to get motivated again soon, but God knows how that works

So it’s technically tomorrow so I just wanna say a couple of things cause that I feel are important:

If you are ace/aro, and you’re feeling kinda agitated what with the “””””discourse””””” I just want you to know that you are valid and that there are so many people, including myself, who are here for you. Don’t let that stupid post bring you down. You’re amazing and I love you guys.

Another important yet ultimately unrelated note: I tend to call myself stupid, a fool, etc. And not even two years ago, I used to believe that stuff. But, I’ve had some time to heal and learn to love myself, so I honestly only say that stuff to take out frustration. I’ve learned to separate that stuff from me, so if I call myself an idiot, don’t freak and go ‘no Riley, you’re not stupid!’ cause I know. It’s just my way of venting.

That’s all I want to say rn, I’m still working on my legacy and I should hopefully start posting again on Monday. I’m gonna try and dedicate tomorrow to drawing, reading, and cleaning my room which I’ve let get a little too messy, but it’s still manageable so I’m gonna take it down before it gets out of control.

No posts tomorrow, I’m gonna be busy at work and I’m gonna try and do some actual writing for my legacy before I post anything else. Entries for my Sort Of Bachelor challenge will end probably on Monday, so if you have an entry, please post them this weekend! Kinda heavy on the girl’s side, I defs would love some more guys too (not to say the girls aren’t lovely, I adore them all)

I’m gonna go ahead and call a hiatus

Mostly just because I’ve got to age Peach up before anything really happens in the game again, but also cause I’m gonna have a pretty fucking busy week this week so I’m gonna try and prioritize my time.

It Was Sudden will be ending on Sunday, final post is scheduled for noon. I might post a couple of gameplay pics? I’ve got a couple pics of Octavia prepped for tomorrow that were just too good not to share, but other than that idk when I’ll post next.

May I have your attention please!

Okay, so now that I have your attention:

I am deciding to take a break. From sims, I mean. And before you get upset, I assure you it'll be a week at MOST. My reason for my break is that ,y personal life has gotten much busier (I have a new job that's more days and more hours), and I've noticed that my mental health has started to slip this past month. I'm not getting good sleep and I'm finding it hard to do basic tasks. I've also lost a friend (I didn't give them the attention they deserved and they left), and I'm considering starting my main blog (that I've had for 6 years) completely over, deactivating it and everything.

I haven't forgotten about the projects that I've started here, and I can promise they will come to fruition. But for now... I'm just very, very tired. If you're on discord and you wanna be friends, message me. I can't promise I'm the best at responding, however, haha. I might also try to stream me drawing on one of my free days.

Quick Heads Up!

I just want you guys to be aware that, due to the fact that I’m trying to plan out a wedding in my game right now, there’s going to be a bit of a lull in posts for a couple of days. This is simply because I have a lot on my plate at the moment, and a lot of it has to come before my Garden Legacy (sadly). 

So don’t worry! I’m still here, i just need some time to pose everything X’D
