Please summerize the plot of your rp with BrighteyedInfantryman clouuuuud because you two are my favorites and I want to get an idea as to what sort of universe to expect. Please give me an answer in 400 words max! (Teases)
Alrighty! But know that I can’t give you a full description because not even Brighteyedinfantryman is aware of the plot twist I’ve got coming up. (462 words. My b)
After the events of DoC, Cloud seeks out a mercenary that works for Don Corneo. The mercenary, Zack Fair is a hazy version of his old self due to the constant pain of his injuries and a drug addiction. Cloud offers him a job. The pair bond on their trip to Modeoheim, Cloud gives Zack care. Conversations about Angeal’s death, Zack’s death, and Zack’s feelings for Cloud surface. In Costa del Sol, they both have breakdowns due to the stress–Zack kisses Cloud. They reevaluate their relationship.
Glitches happen. Things stop adding up. Monsters are behaving in ways they shouldn’t. Zack recognizes his behavior is unlike himself. Still, they stop caring as they build a seemingly normal life– until Sephiroth appears.
Cloud snaps out of it. Malnourished and desperate, he begs Kunsel to place him back into the simulation based on Zack’s DMW. The program, affectionately called Data, was created by Reeve to give Cloud a bit of comfort–it looked like Zack on screen but fell short personality-wise, still knowing to improve as it recognized itself as a companionship program. Cloud got addicted to the sandbox programs it made, such as the mercenary program.
Cloud returns to find Zack dying from fever (the program’s been supporting “two minds” for too long and is overheating) Eventually, the program shuts down entirely. However, Rufus planned for this. Commissioning from Reeve a “Zack Fair” puppet from the remains of Zack’s body–Cloud can have his mercenary in the flesh. Mercenary Zack was put in the body, Data stayed in the system.
Understanding that they can bring the dead back to life, ShinRa begins an experiment to raise fallen SOLDIERs. Aeris returns by use of the white materia. Angeal and Sephiroth return by DMW method, much like Zack. This causes a rift in the lifestream and all souls return to the land of the living. Zack Fair is no exception. Appalled that he now has a full living twin, he deems the puppet “Z2”. WEAPON senses there is no energy left in the planet and attacks. Zack, Z2, Cloud, Sephiroth, Angeal, (and an incredibly dramatic Genesis) step up to save the day. It leaves Z2 incredibly wounded. Recognizing that Z2 keeps Cloud sane, Zack agrees to give up skin and organs to keep Z2 in good condition. This leaves Zack with the affectionate nickname, Patches. Grafts take to Z2 perfectly.
Since Zack can be harvested to create more Zacks, ShinRa begins another Super Soldier project.
Data discovers that he can create millions of worlds, playing Zack and Cloud off of each other to keep himself entertained. Sometimes–he borrows one or the other and waits on them to notice that they’re not in the right world. He’s also realized he can alter the originals while they’re in his domain.
I can’t get into Zachary’s life yet because I haven’t played it out with Brighteyedinfantryman!
