I just really adore the idea of a TABB AU where Strife develops feelings for Nem, seeing him at his best and worse and caring for him all the same. >w< Nem would definitely be the last of the daycare crew to realize Strife's feelings for him despite the increase of gentlemanly gestures and charming words.

Meanwhile Eclipse and Sirius, every single time just exchange knowing side-eye. Neither of them mind but it's very awkward to watch their brothers court and be courted.

Nem would eventually realize of course when Strife finally gets more obvious with his affection, and he wouldn't be opposed but at first he'd definitely be really confused, flustered and unsure of himself. He's never had a crush before in canon, this is new turf to him! Even Dim doesn't have any experience for him to rely on 'cause Dim was aroace.

As for the Ruin and Sun pairing, I have to admit I have a lot of ideas for how Ruin and Sun's friendship could develop in the Ruined Refugee AU! It's just getting myself to write actual story stuff and not just silly tidbits that's the problem. :'D

Now that their budding companionship is at least confirmed, I will say that for them, I really adore the idea of them being the kind of besties who can have sleepovers and snuggle and play pretend without anyone batting an eye, because it just seems natural to them and no one actually suspects they have deeper feelings for each other.

Except I imagine New Moon would soon catch on to at least Ruin's feelings for Sun and he would not approve. But his feelings don't matter so it's fine. uwu

Also extra note just in case this needs to be said and so no one tries to make it weird: Ruined Refugee AU Ruin is not a Sun + Moon amalgam. He is just straight up an eclipse model, always has been.
